remodeling, home remodeling
 + 0 moreWe later sold the property and lost money on the sale due to the poor remodeling work. We realize it is now long after the remodel, but we think it is important for others to know of our poor experience with this contractor. We have had remodel work done since by others and it has gone well.
Description of Work: Home/kitchen remodeling. Initially looked OK but within days problems started with quality of construction. Contractor over promised and under performed. Problems with reliability throughout the project got worse and once we were close to the end and identified items for the punch-list the business owner was unresponsive. Contractor did not respond to requests for repairs or completion and then did not repair or complete the work after he was paid the majority of the balance. Unprofessional: Either he or someone on his work crew brought a dog to our home daily which defecated in our yard where our children play and the contractor was insulted when we asked him not to bring a pet to our job site.
