Nothing worse than a garbage pick up that doesn’t pick up the garbage . Since Consella took over, they have forgotten me 3 times -skipped the recycle bins twice,changed the pick up date and never return calls .the voicemail is full.customer service said they were coming yesterday at 2 when I called (they were very nice -but the trash was not picked up .)

I have used them for ten years. However, in the last two years the service has been unacceptable. They don't come at the same time each week, some weeks in the morning, some in late afternoon so it is impossible to plan when to put the garbage out. They often leave garbage in the toter and many times have put the empty toter onon its side in the street. The recycle crew always leaves papers and cans in thebox. If something falls out of the box, they leave it on the yard or in the street. I have never had an experience with a disposal company like this one. Two year ago I asked for a new toter because the lid was broken. I still haven't received it. They are one of the least expensive companies but the service equals the low price.

Terrible experience.  Price was the ONLY thing good.  I previously used Waste Management and their prices kept climbing up so I shopped around and found Lilac to be the most competitive - they even offered Sr. discount.  They couldn't provide a recycle tote - I was given 2 excuses - they were on back-order and because the company was so small, they were bottom on the list.  So I found an old Waste Management tote and used that - only for Lilac NOT to pick up the recycles - even the cardboard stacked beside the tote!!  I called and she calmly told me it was probably because it wasn't their tote!!  I said "but it's been 2 months now and YOU can't provide me with one!"  I'd be tossing my recycles in the garbage prior to this which I hate doing.  
They'll only take 3 extra bags besides the tote, which in the leaf collection time isn't enough.  They are VERY limited in what they'll take and how much - DEFINITELY not worth the lower price.  I switched to another company after two months.  Never again!!

I've been very pleased when working out issues with their customer service personnel, where as the garbage collectors are hit and miss.....they are punctial but sometimes leave garbage in the street when emptying our trash.

I have seen the driver throw our recycling into our dumpster and then into the garbage truck numerous times. They did the same with our neighbor's recycling as well. I called the company to cancel and they confirmed that it did not sound like the recycling was put into their truck that takes both trash and recycling. Very disappointed. We have also had our recycling bins thrown pretty far into our yard rather than put back down where we left them.

We switched to Lilac a few months ago and have been very pleased with their service. Considerably less expensive than Waste Management and easy to deal with. Other neighbors have switched as well.

Easy to work with. The above cost is their annual billing option, which offers a discount. They will deduct vacation weeks if you notify them ahead of time. My only complaint is that when setting up a new account, it took a couple of weeks to get a trash can and recycling bin.
