I hired Toma who owns Empire Appliance to fix our freezer which had a leak, during the summer of 2017. I had hired Toma several years prior to fix other appliances. While he was not always prompt in returning phone messages, his prices were always reasonable, and he always fixed the problem. When he came to look at our leaking freezer this past summer, he assured me that we would not have any more problems once he fixed it. Several months after he worked on our freezer, it began leaking, again, in the same place. I called Toma at least 4 times and left messages each time, letting him know that the leaking problem had resurfaced again, in exactly the same spot . I never heard back from him. Even though I was a repeat customer, Toma did not respond to my phone messages regarding his faulty work, and did not resolve the issue. I would not recommend him or his service.
