Choice One Proper Disposal

We recently moved here. We previously had used their sister company younglood for our trash service and had a great experience so it seemed like a od move to use this company at our new house. TE first couple of weeks went smoothly but then all of a sudden they stopped picking up our trash. I called the company and asked why our trash had not been picked up. They informed me they had suspended our service due to lack of payment. I told them I had not yet received a bill from them. I asked if they had tried to notify us of the pending suspension and was informed that was not their job. I asked the lady on the phone to give me all my account information so I could pay my bill. I sent n electronic payment thru my bank. The following week I still did not have our trash picked up. When I called them they stated that they still had not received payment. I faxed them copies of the bank statements showing not only the electronic payment but that the payment had been processed and the money taken out of my account. They just kept telling me that they had not received any payment and therefore would not be picking up our trash. I explained that we had shown good proof of payment and asked that they please pick up our trash since we had so much due to the move while we tried to figure out where the payment as lost. They informed me without payment they could not help. Thy refused to acknowledge that the payment might be lost on their end or try to show any kind of customer service. I understand that they probably deal with clients who do not pay them but we were new clients who were trying to do whatever we could to fix the situation. I have never experienced such poor customer service or felt like a company was trying to scam me out of money. I had to cancel my service and hire another company to get trash pick up. Now we need to start the process of trying to recover the money we lost to them. What an awful experience to cloud over the joy of a new house. Moving with 2 small children has enough complications without this headache to deal with.
