The technician was punctual and very helpful in resolving the issues my aunt pointed out in her very old house. He not only fixed two switches but made recommendations that would help with several health and safety issues. It is very hard for my aunt to see and she has a number of idiosyncrasies but he was patient and friendly and got the problems solved. At 89 my aunt is just muddling along with her house (inherited from her parents) and needed help and advice. I appreciate the good service.

I had Allan Electric do some work for me quite some years ago and remembered the excellent work, so when a problem recently arose I called Mark again. Scheduling was perfect, service was prompt, resourceful, professional and friendly.

Received a family referral to Allan Electric to complete work in our new house. Reviews on Angies List were in line. Initial contact with office staff was prompt and professional. An in home estimate was done within a couple days, and questions were answered. It took a bit longer to get the written proposal. When we called to schedule the work, we couldn't get an appointment until around 10 days later. Evan came out promptly as scheduled. He worked cleanly and efficiently, he was pleasant and even accomodated the dog who insisted on sitting in the middle of the kitchen. The work took about 2 hours to complete, including cleanup and explanation and inspection of the work performed after. Evan gave us a few pointers about other items in the house while he was there. We will contact Allan Electric in the future for other projects.

Timely estimates and friendly customer service. Crew during the job was great, very professional, friendly, and even took time to talk about future jobs and provided helpful, honest advice. All prices have been fair and upfront. Currently considering additional work, and fully recommend this team to others. Great job!

Evan was professional, prompt, and kind. His work was completed in a timely and expert fashion. He even repaired damage that was done by a previous "electrician" (I wish I had used Allen Electric first!) The office staff has also been kind and respectful - I received a written, detailed explanation of the jobs and estimated costs. Jill was an unexpected pleasure in handling my bill.

1) Allan Electric worked with me to research an excellent surge protector. Other contractors were unwilling to help me research and then order the surge protector for me (to insure the appropriate item was ordered). Allan Electric was responsive to my questions and had no problem ordering the surge protector. Their work is fully guaranteed for a year in addition to an excellent guarantee on the surge protector. The installation went flawlessly and quickly.

2) The pole light short was difficult to find. However, eventhough it was raining quite hard, the short was finally found after digging in several areas. The split wire was found and repaired with a very professional repair kit. The areas of the yard that were dug up werre replaced with precision since the layers of sod were placed in order off to the side as they werre removed. Two weeks after the repair, the yard looks very good - very much appreciated!

Overall performance was excellent and there's no question I will hire them again.
