Riverside did a great job reupholstering an old platform rocker that we had in our basement for years. The proprietor (Ed) was great from start to finish. When I told him what I needed, he was very accomodating and went above and beyond in having the chair ready for an anniversary that was two weeks away. I would highly recommend them.

I contacted three upholstery companies listed on Angie's List. Riverside was the most responsive and professional. One company said they would just cover over the existing material and foam. When I explained how old the chairs were and that they needed NEW foam, he quoted me $15 extra per chair on top of the base price. We took the seats to Riverside on February 21 and were told they would be ready in 2-4 days. He actually had them ready the next day! Riverside did an excellent job with a quick turn around time. I would definitely use them again.

Service was friendly, the work well done, and on time. Absolutely all fine. The only issue I had with this shop was the smell of cigarette smoke in the shop. It lingered on the fabric once I brought it home. After a few days, the fabric did air out and I moved the piece into the house without a problem. I would use Riverside again, but I would ask if they could protect my fabric and whatever foam they use from exposure. I am allergic to cigarette smoke, so I am more sensitive than most.

Riverside is a small family run business that takes the time and attention to perform a high level of service for their craft. We had a small rocking chair upholstered for our baby's room and turned out as we had hoped. The upholstery has well done seaming, pattern matching and fill levels. We plan to use them again for another antique piece and would recommend to others.

He did it quickly and did a great job. He was very good and took personal interest in his work. He was careful about all the little points that add up to a good project. His prices are also very reasonable.
