They charged me $452 said they x-rayed and did blood work he was totally fine and had NO blockage they said it 10 times he had nothing inside he was fine. He didn't eat for two more weeks we called every other day they said the vet will call back she never did and they refused to make him another appointment how disgusting after I paid almost 500. Took him back to another vet they didn't even do an x-ray immediately she said he has a blockage (didnt cost me ANYTHING) (Waterville vet are the most greedy people I've ever met) the cat had to be out down if he had been in there two weeks ago hed be in and out. Two weeks no food or water makes them unstable and it wasn't possible to operate. The Waterville vet is actually the worst vet you can find. I don't even believe they did an x-ray. But the second vet said the looked and could CLEARLY see a blockage. I want my money back. They said tough **** but my appointment is Saturday so I think I'll come alone (the pet died I made it for) and ask in person ;)

They took care of my dog. They were very good. They knew what to look for. They were very caring and knowledgeable. They took a blood test right there and diagnosed within half an hour that it was Lyme disease. They had the antibiotics right there for me. Everything was taken care of in one visit. The dog recovered 100%. He is absolutely fine. They are very good with the animals. Vets are getting very expensive. If it was free it would be a lot better. I am absolutely going to use them again in the future.

They gave us the appropriate treatment and she is healthy. They have never steered us wrong and they were there for us when we needed to put two of our dogs down. The response was immediate and they were very compassionate. They are a nice family owned organization with nice compassionate people. The price included a couple of prescriptions so it was pricey because of the drugs.

One of my older cats was experiencing respiratory distress and I had to utilize the afterhours emergency clinic. The vet on duty was not one I was familiar with and the only word I can use for the "non-services" provided is inept. I was stressed and little help--the animal was thrashing around and the vet complained of having no one to help her. As the cat went into a massive seizure and then cardiac arrest ,he vet made comments of "he's seizing -he doesn't know where he is--he's turning blue--he's gone do you want me to bring him back". All throughout this scenario she did not administer one drug or do little more that watch the situation unfold. As I was leaving with my dead pet I told her to send me the bill to which she replied "no charge". I have been a good customer for 35 years at this practice--never shirked a bill--always paid cash--referred lots of new business to them. Three weeks later I brought 2 of my other cats in for their annual shots ( I have 20 cats) at the end of the visit as I was preparing to pay the bill of $120.00 the clerk says that will be $270.00. I say excuse me but it should be $120.00. She said there is a $150.00 emergency visit for Sam. I then say the vet said "no charge". The owner of the clinic came out and shows me the statement for the emergency visit and I again tell him ther vet on duty said no charge. He became visibly irritated and said "he had to come in at midnight"and I again tell him she said no charge and that she virtually performed no services. Long story shortened--I refuse to pay the bill and that I will take all 20 of my animals out of the practice. His response was "that's a good idea." The charge was removed from my bill and I left the clinic wondering where The owner's sense of business was. After 35 years of using that clinic I feel terrible however I see that money supercedes compassion or loyalty. In retrospect I think the vet on duty that night was trying to tell me I couldn't leave the clinic without paying--that's where no charge apparently came from--but then she didn't want to push the issue on top of my grief. Had they sent the bill right out instead of waiting for me to come back in (out of courtesy I presume) I would have disputed it sooner. Had the vet at least attempted some type of treatment at the time of the incident--I would have had no problem paying the bill in full. At this time I have submitted a check for $50.00 to cover the vet's travel time--which I thimk is fair. And I have switched all my pets to another clinic in the area. Pet care has become a lucrative, billion dollar industry in this county. Money was not the issue here----the non services aspect and lack of compassion and apparent disregard for repeat business is what finished me. Dianne Getchell
