NNY HOMES

Poor effort and motivation with showings and advertising.

The house that we're in is a little bit older and things are bound to need service.  NNY Homes as a property manager has AT BEST been slow to respond.
1) we had an utter infestation of wasps.  I was afraid that my infant son was going to get stung.  My wife killed 7 in my son's bedroom in one day!  We called NNY Homes and Joan said that if WE wanted to hire an exterminator, WE could do so.  NNY Homes not only refused to cover an exterminator but also doubted that there were even wasps.

2) One of the steps going down stairs broke. I fell a number of times.  We called to have it repaired and WEEKS later, NNY Homes had their workman repair the step.  Instead of replacing the broken wood and bringing a lasting solution to the issue, the workman added another piece of wood from the underside in an attempt to take the easy way out.  Since then, the step has degraded to its original condition.

3) The mailbox is not securely attached to the post that it is on.  It is completely rusted off.  As such, the mailbox frequently winds up in the mud and our mail gets wet.  We called NNY Homes last night and asked what was going on to resolve our problem.  This morning (Saturday) at 8 am, on of the NNY Homes employees called my wife.  She said that to date that NNY Homes was useless (which I believe is a fair assessment).  This male employee started screaming at my wife over the phone.  She hung up, he called back, I answered.  This guy was hysterical, screaming at me, threatening to call the cops, insulting my intelligence.  I finally had to hang up on him because I knew I couldn't get a word in edgewise.
