B&B Construction and Roofing

It leaked like the dickens and I'm out $4,500. He's cheap but he wont return your calls when you try to get him to home out and fix the leaks. Don't hire him.

Mike gave me a price of $4500 plus the cost of decking to replace my porch roof and some siding. He replaced 1 (one) 4x8 sheet of decking that I saw and charged me an additional $500 which I didn't care about because I was deploying the following week. I came back from deployment to find my roof leaking. I called him and left several voicemails and I even sent him a registered letter which he signed for. The roof had to be replaced (again) and most of the siding was replaced because it is warping. I moved out of town so suing would cost too much at this point

Mike Boyanski with B&B construction subcontracted roof work we had for him without our knowledge or permission.  Instead of stripping the roofs as agreed the new shingles were placed over the existing roof.  Mike has consistently stated he would refund the money and now is refusing to talk to us.  I have notes left by him and current litigation against him.  If you are considering him for anything I urge you to call us first.  You can search for Conley's Rental Management in Watertown and ask for Chui.

First of all he overcharged me for the work. His quote was $500 off what he actually charged me. For the same price I could have got a lot more work done out of the other roofers who quoted me. The roof started leaking again a few months after he fixed it. The vinyl siding he installed is warped and falling down. I called him, Emailed him, and I even sent him a registered letter which he signed for... all I wanted him to do was repair the roof and make it right. He still has not gotten back to me so now I have to find another roofer to fix his work. He talked a good game and he talks about how experienced he is and how efficient he works to keep prices low. He even offered to fix my house if anything happened while I was deployed to Afghanistan. But at the end the day he did not come through and now my roof is still leaking and I have significant water damages because it was leaking for the year I was deployed. Do yourself a favor and do not hire this guy.

I previously had Band B Construction replace siding on my house due to wind damage. (See previous review) Within a week another extreme wind storm caused more damage to the recently replaced siding. Keeping true to his work Mike from Band B Construction came out the same day I called him and fixed the siding immediately before any further damage could be done. As promised there was no charge for the follow on repairs. The wall looks as good as new.

than the rest of my house. All his work is warrantied and guaranteed.
While he was here I asked him for a quote to replace water damaged
bathroom floor. He gave me a quote and did the work the same day also.
Again I am beyond impressed with the work and craftsmanship. He did
all the little extras like new moldings in the bathroom, waterproof tape
and tyvex waterproofing that I was not aware I needed. When the shop
ran out of my type of siding he refused to take payment until he could
order the last two pieces needed and finish the job. His work is great,
the quality is superior, the price is right, and he will be the only
contractor I call for any needs I have in the future.
