"To all of the great Angie's List customers that are viewing this Review... I would like to shed some light on this particular job. My company was hired to do a siding job for this family. We were given the amount of $17,306.oo to complete the first contract, this was for materials and labor. I was doing multiple jobs for more than this customer when we made our agreement and the homeowners were more than fine with that. I began there job the week after the 4th of July. We started by foaming the house with insulation board then began siding the home. As we started siding the home, they began to ask us to install Extra things, such as doors and windows. these doors and windows cost more and required a two to three week wait period, the homeowners ordered and purchased these extra''s. and paid additional labor. The wait time unfortunately was longer than the supply store quoted them, this also began to cause our company delays on us siding the house. The siding could not be completed in as fast of a time frame as they wanted, due to there own supply issues with there window and door company. I told them that we could not side certain places on the home until they received there windows and doors. As we waited for the doors and windows to come in, our company began our next siding job two streets over from there home for an Auburn Police officer. Which we always have multiple jobs going at the same time, such as many other companies do. This enraged the family, they felt that if we were not at there home working that we shouldn't be at there neighbors house.. This infuriated them so much that they walked over to my jobsite two streets over, not knowing that my other customer is a police officer. They began slandering my company and my employees and telling the officer that I ripped them off and never completed there job. The next morning the officer and his wife explained everything that happened and how they were just trashing my company.. The officer told them , he hired steve to do a job and steve is doing great work for him and he has no complaints. he told them sorry they felt that way and asked them to leave. The next day I called the homeowners that made this complaint and confronted them about the encounter with the police officer I was also working for, they denied everythingf said. I was then at that point asked to not return to there job, and that there father was going to do thee rest of the remaining work,. I asked theme to reconsider because I have never left a job incomplete and did not want to leave there job unfinished. They said NO our father is going to come finish it. Do to the fact my company was Not given a chance to complete this job, I have turned this over to our Attorney in our legal department for breach of contract as well as defimation of character and will now be delt with by our court system unfortunately. I would like to let all my true customers know that we have always finished our work. I have never left a job incomplete until this one. the homeowners only allowed me 24 days of work before i was told to leave and not return, on a large job that would have taken us untill our forecasted date of September 15th. They filed complaint on August 24, 3 weeks before our forecast, makes no sence... Really all I can say in reguards to this account is that my attorney told me that they have not got a leg to stand on in court nor with the NYS Attorney Generals Office whom has already dropped there complaint... To be honest , all the lawyers seam to think they were just looking for a free siding job and THIS GUY AINT ?HAVING IT. I work too hard to let someone scamm my company..
