Vinny was easy to work with. He was timely in all aspects of the job, from the appointment for the estimate to the on-site service. He and his assistant worked in sweltering temperatures, and in a day and a half accomplished the job, applying two coats of stain to the wood fence around the yard. His price was fair and the outcome was good; some neighbors and friends complimented the finished product. I will definitely call him again.

I hired Vinny to paint the exterior of a duplex and carriage house along with staining a large second story wrap-around deck. Vinny gave me a fair price and was able to complete it on schedule. He even fixed some exterior issues including wood-rotted window sills, sealing up holes, and replaced a board on the deck. Overall Vinny did an excellent job and was absolutely worth the money.

We decided to us Home Advisor to steer us in the direction of a reputable painter for our living room walls and ceiling. We decided to contact and request quotes from multiple recommendations and use Ferrara’s Interior and Exterior Painting with 4.7 stars and 13 reviews. Vinny was prompt to come to our house to provide a quote, he arrived at our house gave us a verbal quote and when we decided to use him we requested a quote in writing which we did not receive until a week later with additional requests for the written quote. Morning of the job, Vinny and his assistant were 45 minutes late. They did not reach out to us to let us know they were going to be late, the excuse given was “he forgot some stuff”. As a paying customer it was completely unacceptable as now my husband was late to work (costing us additional money). Upon arrival my husband re-iterated the job to be done (paint living room ceiling with 2 coats, living room walls with 2 coats of paint and fill in/patch nail holes). I came home just as the job was completed to inspect. There were MULTIPLE spots missing paint that were either simply not painted or where the roller went dry, an 11 inch drip line, the holes were not patched but filled with paint, the wall to ceiling trim was nothing close to straight, paint was spilled on our hard wood floors and attempted to be cleaned up leaving a circular marking, paint left on the trim, and drips down the walls over the stairs where he did not paint (from the ceiling). When I pointed a few things out to Vinny he had an excuse for every mistake- our walls are bowed, there was paint on the trim before, nothing was said for the missed spots and I asked multiple times if there were 2 coats of paint applied and he assured me-still has me questioning with how many missed spots. Vinny was quick to ask for payment and was not thrilled when I wrote him a check- the check was written to him and not the business. He asked where the nearest bank was and made a quick exit. 10 minutes later I received a call from Vinny saying the bank would not cash my check (he did not have an account there and it wasn’t the same bank the check was written from), again I voiced my concerns with the job and he had nothing to say- no apologies given, no offerings to come and fix the mistakes. The bank would not cash that would not cash the check advised him to go to the bank the actually check was written from, which he did immediately. He seemed more concerned with getting paid than the customer being upset with the job that he completed. My husband contacted Vinny later after reviewing the job with our concerns. He requested Vinny come back in the next few days to fix the work (as out hardwoods were being redone later that week, which was the point of Vinny painting first). Vinny said he could not, and would try Monday or Tuesday of the next week. We did not contact him in between waiting for Vinny to respond to make the job right. He did not. My husband

Vinnie was great. The price was very reasonable and he did a wonderful job on my exterior painting project. I also asked him to repair a section of my roof which had been damaged during a storm. He responded quickly and fixed the issue right away. He always shows up when promised and provides great advice on home maintenance. I will definitely reach out to him again for future projects.

Vince did a great job ---exterior painting, concrete resurfacing and painting, as well as heavy odd job cleanup and restoration around a home foundation. If there was anything that needed a little touch up to make it look better, Vince always accommodated pour requests and came back and fixed things. He has high integrity, works efficiently and is reasonable on price. I highly recommend him for any area in which he has experience!! Will keep his phone number for future jobs.

The project was exterior deck stain. He was able to replace - and install - a damaged board before staining; also replaced a board in the wooden fence. A very kind gesture.
