WOODCOCK AUTO BODY

Description of Work: I have used Woodcock auto body in the past when they had a shop in Central Valley. At that time, they were professional, responsive and completed the work on schedule. I was very impressed with their work product and their professional manner and that is why I did not hesitate to use their services again. They no longer have a shop in Central Valley NY but do have the one in Washingtonville, which is further away. They did accommodate me by arranging for my car to be picked up by a local towing service to bring to Washingtonville. | |On this recent occasion, it was clear that my auto repairs were not a priority. I was told it was their busy season due to the large number of deer hits and that my car would take over three weeks to complete the repairs.(It was closer to four.)I made multiple phone calls about the status of my car repairs and do believe that it would have been an even longer time frame if I did not do so. I did not find the same level of competence and even had to bring the car back to fix the drivers side door which should have been done correctly in the first place. | |While the front desk staff were still professional and courteous, the timeline to complete the work and the lesser quality work product indicate either staffing issues or a change in internal processes. | |Until these are addressed, I would not recommend them.
