It was the worst experience of my life. This is the reason why decided to search for quality contractors on Angie's list.
Description of Work: Mr. Ahearn built an addition onto my house. I had a set of architect plans that were in detail. Frank Ahearn was cutting corners in every way to make an extra profit. Mr. Ahearn did not follow the plans, for example the addition included putting a dormer on the garage. The plans specifically stated to take the shingles and sheathing off the roof. Mr Ahearn decided to save money by building the dormer on top of the shingles and sheathing without my consent and knowledge. There was no access to the attic because of this. He will build to earn extra profit by not building to residential code. Due to numerous issues this ended in binding arbitration against Mr. Ahearn and the end result he paid me a large sum of money. Half of the addition had to be rebuilt. He is not a quality builder and it became known .to me that he had done this to numerous people. This is unfortunate but many people are not knowledgable and this is when he take advantages of his clients.
