Michael came, he saw, and he conquered. Had to line him up two years in advance. In the time between the estimate and the work (two years), price of materials, particularly plywood, skyrocketed, but Michael stayed with the estimate. Quickly tore down the old roof (a dirty job) then, carefully, rebuilt the roof, gutter, and trim. This was not an easy job. The pitch of the roof is very steep and presented Michael with a problem. He wasn't able to use current ways to set up work platforms in the middle of the roof, so he went back and researched how it was done in the old days, found the method, and used it. The job took longer than expected (typical of work on an old house), but I wasn't charged for it. Roof at the peek was wider than at the bottom, requiring a tiny sliver be trimmed off every shingle so that their lines would line up, that's what made the job take longer. Clean up was great, went around with magnets to pick up stray nails every day. Great guy and a great job.
