Had a few problems including the removal of a transparent encasement that was replaced with one that is not allowing us to see into the system. Then we discovered something was not per town code and we were just told watersource is no longer authorized to service Kinetico systems that they installed. When we asked how we now repair the code issue, they said water source no longer even exists as Culligan purchased it so there is nothing anyone can do. However, they advertise as watersource. Wrong answer to give two attorneys.

We have been in Ulster County for forty plus years and are quite familiar with the types of water problems here. Recently, we sought advice from The Water Source who answered our call promptly and met with us in a timely manner. Their patience with our endless questions, the knowledge they shared about different filtration systems, and best of all their cost was most appealing. We appreciate that their products are American made and that their advice is based on expertise from a Certified Water Specialist. They are the best – first class! We highly recommend them.

So far, we have been happy with the water softener. Two or three people came out, looked, and gave us prices. We asked around and somebody told us that this guy was good. We have not had any problem with it yet. I know we have to service it again. So, we would probably call him again to service it and do what he has to do. The price was average. He came when he was supposed to and did everything that he was supposed to. Right now, I have not recalled him. That is part of putting in the water softener that if we do have a problem that they do come back. That is really important. I just do not understand why they did not like call us after it was done for a follow-up.

Came out to assess the system - Big surprise - the hardness of my water in now double what it was a year ago and a $140.00 service call charge. My only option now is to install a larger system. For what this system cost I should not be having this issue. I should have investigated more options before choosing them. Their personnel are all courteous but explore other providers before making such a large investment.
