Mid-Hudson Floor and Wall Co

I hired them to remodel a small bathroom in my house. It was okay at first and but I was displeased with their work afterwards. The company used a test pipe on the project. The project was finished May 16th. I have been contacting the company but was unsuccessful getting a hand on them. The member stated that this company is unprofessional and having an un-business like attitude towards their customers.

it seem so.  They corrected and repaired any deficiencies in the subfloor and made sure it was sound before installing the new flooring.  This required a fair amount of skill and experience as well as some unpleasant hours spent in a crawl space.  The crew was pleasant, efficient, neat and clean.  The new floor looks beautiful, was installed with precision and now feels very solid. I'm glad I found Mid-Hudson Floor and Wall Co.  They truly exceeded my expectations.  I can't recommend then highly enough!

I had contacted several tile installers for an estimate to install kitchen floor tile. Based upon Angie's list recommendations, I contacted Mid-Hudson Floor and Wall. Alan arrived as expected and was very knowledgeable. I selected Mid-Hudson Floor and Wall based upon their expertise, price, and availability. When I visited their showroom, Alan assisted me in explaining the different types of tiles. Other tile showrooms offered no assistance or guidance whatsoever in tile selection. After speaking to Alan, I felt confident that I had selected the best tile for my kitchen floor. In addition, Mid-Hudson Floor and Wall had a huge selection of tiles to choose from. As expected, the old tile was removed and disposed of. In addition, the workers built the tile flooring the correct way before the tile was installed. The price did not include the sealing of the grout. I paid an additional $250 for the grout to be sealed. Another person from Mid-Hudson Floor and Wall came to my house as expected and sealed the grout. She was very efficient and neat. I would recommend Mid-Hudson Floor and Wall based upon their tile expertise and large tile showroom.

The laminate flooring that was installed was starting to become defective by curling and ripping and some of the surface was bubbling. The guarantee was for 30 years and we called them and tried to get the problem resolved after the floor was only 3 months old. After many efforts they finally sent some one out in March to collect the samples which was the owner and an installer who collected all the samples. Armstrong which is another company that is the maker of the product (laminate flooring) stated that they could not fix the problem due to Mid Hudson submitting small sample amounts. Armstrong stated that they would fix the problem but Mid Hudson has to submit all the samples. The report stated that the problem was due to flooring being placed on concrete floors and moisture which caused the bubbling. They have been dishonest with us during this situation and has not submitted all of the samples to fix the flooring. The laminate was installed over hard wood floors not concrete and not near any leaking appliances. Mid Hudson does not want to submit the full sample amounts and Armstrong is unable to fix the repairs for the entire area needing repaired.

Sales person was very helpful. Installer was on time and job was done professionally. I love the floor.

Picking out tile is a massive job. There is so much out there. They were extremely helpful with narrowing things down to what I was looking for. They were very good with letting me check out tile and bring them back.
