+ -1 moreOur house was built in 1971 and the kitchen was getting dated. We hired a local contactor and he recommended Hudson Valley Granite for the granite slab. The place is right by the Wappingers Falls creek. The owner, George, worked with us personally and oversaw all steps of the granite preparation and installation. The fit was perfect and the surface was highly polished and sealed by the owner. It makes a big difference when the owner personally sees that everything is done right, nobody cares like the owner of the business.
Description of Work: They are a local company with a wide selection of granite slabs and a complete workshop to do the cutting and finishing and polishing themselves. The price included a template they applied, cutting to fit and a rounded edging with installation.
