CARDOSO CARPENTRY

It went very well. I knew right away that Americo really knew his stuff. He's extremely knowledgeable about the work he does. I would say that he is a master carpenter. Not only that but he really seems to enjoy what he does. He takes pride in his work and goes the extra mile to do the job well. He wants to be sure that when he's done, he's completed the job to the best of his ability. He doesn't rush to get to the next job. I also liked the fact that he explained everything he was doing in detail. When he was finished putting the new door in the garage, I just marveled at what an excellent job he had done !!

We have been trying to find someone to fix our porch roof for many years. Every time we have a roofer look at it, they don't want the job and don't call back with estimate. Americo immediately recognized our yankee gutters for what they are - if you have an old house you will understand. He actually seemed excited to have an interesting job to do. Since we didn't know the extent of the problem (basically rotten wood from leaks) until he took the roof apart, he has been working on time and materials basis. He is extremely honest, hard working and very knowledgeable about repairing old houses. It is taking longer than expected because the problem was more extensive than we thought, but the work he is doing is amazing - he's rebuilding the gutters as they were meant to be. We are going to have him do some work inside the house next.
