"Thank you so much for our review. Please mention that you gave us an Angie's List review and receive $10 off your next bill!"
The second visit, he ended up cleaning out my furnace thoroughly....which had been done this past summer under contract with another company. He showed me all the areas that had been neglected for a long time. He also explained that my furnace was operating at 82%, which didn't sound good to me.... But a new system would be so costly that it would take a while to see the return on my investment and this furnace should last several years more.
While he was here working, I could hear him talking to other customers with broken pipes and heating issues and he explained to one woman exactly how to shut off her water supply, which I am sure saved her a lot of damage. He planned to go there after my job.
I was very pleased with his work and relieved he was able to make the service calls when I needed. One plumber I called wasn't available for a week!
His prices are also reasonable considering he came in the evening and on a weekend. I trust his workmanship and will be calling him for regular service in the future.
