Claus and his workers were courteous, professional, neat and a pleasure to be around.  I would definitely recommend them and plan to use them again when we paint our home's interior.

Very happy with the work. Price was quite reasonable and Clause and his 2 helpers really respect and appreciate all of the wonderful details of an older home. They wanted to make our house beautiful as much as we did. Lovely people who take a lot of pride in their work. I will defiantly hire them again.

Claus's crew was on time every day and kept us apprised of any change in schedule due to weather conditions. The entire house was power washed and stained. The application of the stain was all done by hand with a generous amount of stain applied to ensure proper coverage. The trim work was exceptional particularly where the contrasting trim color met the walls. Claus and his crew were professional, courteous, and always left the job site clean and unobstructed at the end of the day. We would use them again for our painting needs and highly recommend Claus to our friends and neighbors.

The actual paint job of the home went well. However, our job was supposed to be the last outside job for this contractor before the cold weather set in. However, the contractor during our painting job, took on another paint job. In his haste to finish our job quickly, he neglected to remove the paint splatters from window. Several of our windows were painted shut and the contractor never replaced the calk he removed from our windows and doors. Thus in past rain storms, we had water come into our home. Only recently we discovered why this has been happening since our house was repainted. We found out that all the calk was gone. This is something I believe the contractor would have taken care of if he were not in a rush to finish our job.

Claus and his co-worker were punctual and professional and did high quality work. He was available when I needed him, worked quickly and efficiently, and was very easy to work with. I originally hired him for only the one job but had him back a few weeks later for a second job because I was completely satisfied with him.

After the initial estimate Claus was willing to work with us, so that we did the shutters and porch, he reduced his price accordingly. He worked with one other person, they power washed the shutters for us.

Great, no problems except the weather.

It was painless--not a bad experience at all. They were always early on the job and explained things to me that I didn't even think of. He also made suggestions with color. We just bought our house. It is a 1889 Victorian that had been neglected for a long time. She needed a lot of work! We couldn't do it ourselves, so we hired Claus on the recommendation of a friend. He came, gave us a written estimate, explained what needed to be done and why. Within 3 weeks they came, as planned, and finished 2 days early! They also did some extra work (garage doors) free! They will be our "house painters" from now on. We feel very lucky to find someone we can TRUST around our home. Oh! He also provides many references for you to call.
