We received a plow visit early AM on 2/16/16 when little snow was on ground.  The rest of the day saw over a foot of heavy wet snow pile up, leaving us unable to leave our home all day.  Called at approximately 2pm to see when we could expect the plow to show and was told should certainly be soon and they were running behind due to equipment issues caused by the heavy snow.  Called back at 4:35pm when no plow showed and found they only had voice mail after 4:30pm.  So we sit not knowing when or if a truck will show up tonight and nobody to call to know.  I will NOT utilize their service going forward.  For an organization of this size this is absolutely unacceptable.  I would expect that even a single truck operation would provide contact information.  Horrible service

Work was done very quickly.  Looks good and we will be calling John Welch again when we need this sort of help.
Employees were courteous and work was done as promised.

I contacted them via Angie's List asking for an estimate on repairing my front stoop. A representative came and looked at the stoop on July 21. He mentioned a price but I asked for a written estimate. I never received a written estimate.

I appreciate you taking responsibility for the mistake unlike another provider who blamed the problems on me.

He was very pleasant. He did run a little late, but contacted me to let me know that he would be late. His work looked fantastic, but his price was a little bit out of our budget for the work.

It went very well, though his approach to estimating was surprising... he gave an hourly rate and quoted cost-plus pricing on equipment and materials. Though I felt the final total was a bit high, it seemed at the high end of fair. I'd probably use them again.

John Welch Enterprise is contracted to plow when we receive more than three inches of snow. They do arrive and plow as promised, and in a timely manner.
The quality of the work this winter is a concern. Today, for my two car wide driveway, the center 2/3 of driveway cleared. At the street, just over one car width was plowed. After the second visit from the contractor it took me about a half hour to finish shoveling what was not completed.
This contractor plowed my driveway the previous winter season (2013) and did an excellent job. This winter season (2014) the incomplete job of clearing the driveway has been the norm.

No complaints. They did a good job at a fair price. They did not damage my lawn when they plowed.

Both of my interactions were excellent.  They provided estimates up front and were not pushy about them.  When i did respond they were able to fit me in even though they were already pretty filled up for the season.  When they arrived to do the job they were were very professional and kept me up to date on the progress and changes that had to be made.  On the first visit  2 very large concrete block discovered that would be have to be removed and they did that without adding to the bill.
Both walls are exactly what I wanted and were completed in 2 - 3 days.  These are definitely the go to guys for me if I need any landscaping work done in the future.

They have honored their contract.  If we get more then three inches they come and plow. They have been punctual. No complaints. You get pricing options, you can do a seasonal contract or pay by the trip.  Often times plow damage peoples lawn and mine is in good shape so I am pleased with that. 

I worked with Jennifer Abrey, landscape designer, throughout our process and she went above and beyond designing the gardens and incorporating any changes I had.  The crew was extremely professional and the garden and lawn are amazing.  Jennifer came back several times after the work was done to check on the gardens and replaced any plants that didn't thrive.  The lawn also had to be regraded in a few spots and she made sure that it was taken care of.  Jennifer is the first person I will call whenever I make changes or add on to the garden.

John Welch Enterprise worked on my property for 2 full days.  The project ran smoothly and was finished on time.  I am extremely pleased with the result.

I met with Jennifer, their landscape designer and she was great, and listened to my concern.  The quote given was fair, and I liked her plan.  We went back and forth several times so that there were a couple of things that I tweet in the design and the quote was about $3200.  They came highly recommended to me, so I assume it is going to work out.

All jobs completed within budget and on time. Very well-skilled people. Project supervisor (Terry Courneen) was extremely conscientious, knowledgeable, and helpful. Excellent cleanup, including lawn repair. Highly recommended.

They did quality work.  I was very happy with them.  I didn't think the price was outrageous.
