BUDGET BLINDS

I used them twice. Both time went great. Its affordable and the blinds are very high quality. Paul will help you with options and colors. One home we did all wood, and it looked amazing. The second house was just done around Christmas time and we did different styles. They all look and work great. The installer was on time, fast and he did a great job! He even cleaned up all of his mess, which most contractors forget those small details... I appreciate how awesome they are!!

I had my shades made and installed in 2013 and recently put a gash in one of them. I called Paul Wood at BB and explained what I had done and he immediately ordered me a new shade! There is a one time lifetime guarantee with these shades. So there is no charge for the replacements. I had a similar incident in a previous home, and he replaced that shade for no charge. BB guarantee is by far the best I have ever seen or experienced! Paul Wood is punctual, very precise and neat.

Everything went according to plan -- with the exception of the and quot;Enlightened Styleand quot; and quot;Single Cell Shades - we had these put in the master bedroom, guest room, and the kids rooms. When raising and lowering the blinds at least several times per week,there is an odd sound that the cords make. This originally prompted a question of Paul after installation concerning the durability. Something along the lines of and quot;is that sound normaland quot; which we were assured at the time it was. Fast forward to this weekend -- one of the units in my daughters room has ceased functioning. It will and quot;closeand quot; by which I mean show the window and allow light in about 60% of the way. The shade remains and quot;downand quot; about 40% and no amount of pulling and pushing to and quot;resetand quot; the roller housed in the top of the shade will allow it to reset itself. These shades ran about $159 per unit.

9/24/14 Update - 4 business days have passed since we reached out to Paul, and our messages have so far gone UNRETURNED. It is a cell phone and one of the times I heard the telltale beeps letting me know he was on the other line. I don't blame him for not taking my call immediately, but please return the message! Somewhat resigned to disappointment at this point. I will keep checking back here, if for no other reason than to advise and update. I have scaled back both responsiveness and professionalism from B to C.

Everything went well. Two of the shades were cut to the incorrect size. Paul took them with him and had the correct ones sent. This happened to be right around x-mas so it took a bit to get the replacements. As soon as they arrived Paul was back to install. The windows look great.

His knowledge and advice were invaluable to me in choosing the best type of window treatments for my home, the colors offered, the costs, etc. This was one of the best consumer experiences ever that I have had. Paul Wood was so gracious and so professional and so nice a person and the product so very good, that I wonder now why I waited so long to have this work done. Within 3 -4 weeks in both instances the installation was completely done as scheduled and the cleanup was perfect and all areas of work were made spotless. And the cost of my new window treatments were great! Paul, even on both occasions, honored the discounts Budget Blinds offered and advertised both on material and labor. In sum, anyone who wants shutters, wood blinds, draperies, shades,faux wood blinds, etc., would be and quot;crazyand quot; not to contact Budget Blinds and its co-owner Paul Wood to see what it/he offer first. And again, I repeat, that this was a great consumer experience for me and the work completed has made my home that much more appealing!!!! I am toatally satisfied with the product, the person, the installation and the cleanup. What more could one ask for?

Paul Wood came when he said, showed us options, measured, gave us a quote. When the items arrived, he called and arrived on time, installed cleanly. We are thoroughly satisfied.

David showed us a lot of choices, and found out information when I wanted to the "R" value for the blinds we purchased. He knew the product and the product is guaranteed for as long as we own the home. They did everything: the measuring, putting up the blinds, etc. They gave us choices in different price ranges. The price was higher than what we have used before when we would put in our own blinds, but the quality is excellent and the price is on par with other blind company. They put up temporary blinds so that we would have window coverings while we were waiting on our new blinds. They were very responsive, and even gave us one free shade for our bathroom. He was very nice and very helpful and even referred us to a company that could put on a window film for our windows that have a curved top.
