Art was truly wonderful to work with - hiring out for jobs can be stressful, but Art made things real easy. I place high value on professionalism, personal integrity, and good humor, and Art showed up every day with a fine mix of these qualities. He was accessible, understanding, and easy to communicate with, he was punctual and focused on our project despite some complications, and above all he was committed to being a reasonable human being striving to do good honest work for a more than fair price (= WINNER!) Overall, I'd rate the quality of the actual paint job 4-1/2 stars (very good, above average) but I'm more than willing to accept some minor 1/2-star imperfections in exchange for working with someone who I genuinely like and trust. If this review resonates with your own values, by all means, hire Art! You won't be sorry.

Art & his crew did a fantastic job on the exterior of our house. We plan to hire them again for some interior painting in the near future.

They were terrific. They did an exceptional job. Took great pride in what they were doing. They even came back to do a window that I forgot to them even existed. They did that cheerfully and I was extremely impressed. It was a very reasonable and fair price for the job.

Excellent paint job and value. We had four job estimates and chose Art Prentice. Our house is good size, approximately 3200 sqft, with lots of trim and a few tricky spots for painting.
