We started with him in 1981. He's really good, he spends a lot of time with you, and the good thing he does is he tries to educate me, he wants me to understand, he wants me to have it in my head not just on paper the medications I'm taking and why I take them so he's really good in trying to educate you to make sure that you're knowledgeable as a patient. I like him a lot, he's been our family doctor for years. The only problem is because of the cramped condition, it is a little crowded but he can't help that. A lot of places got flooded in Johnson City a year ago and his office is one of those that got flooded so they had to move their office to another office so it's a little cramped as far as office arrangement goes.

He is not rushed. The person that I always bring with me is amazed at how much time he takes. He is concerned about anything that is going on in my life. He answers things about blood tests that I may have taken and then he makes the phone calls, which I think is pretty amazing. I am not too crazy about his staff.

We've been following him from office to office for 30 years so obviously we like him. He's an internist, he does not do services that you might go to an OBGYN for. He's excellent with what we have done, he keeps up to date, he doesn't over prescribe and he prefers more natural remedies that other doctors would prescribe prescriptions for like sinus infections. We have a variety of problems and he's been able to either take care of them or refer us to someone else to get them taken care of.
