"The Masonry worker Inc was invited and successfully completed a project in April 2008 for [member name removed] & [member name removed] of Chittenango, NY. The work included a beautiful stamped concrete patio in the rear entrance of their home. Their satisfaction was verified by a second invitation in May 2009 for a similar project on the front of their home. It included a stamped concrete entryway and retaining walls that stretched around the front corner of the home to the lower cellar level. All was well until we received a call to look at the lower retaining wall in 2013. Upon inspection it was clear the cause of the wall movement was a large five year old tree planted in the center of the small circular section of the retaining wall. A tree was discussed during the design phase and we advised against it before we installed the wall. We concluded that The Masonry Worker Inc was not responsible for the wall movement caused by tree root expansion over five years and provided a reasonable repair estimate of $2,456.00 . It is unfortunate to see a previously good customer lash out in an attempt to tarnish a reputation. The Masonry Worker Inc provides great service, work and advice. But please, don’t disregard our advice and somehow make people think that it is our fault."
