BIG PROBLEMS. DO NOT USE SUNRUN!!
One of the conditions we had for the installation was that, if we needed roof repairs, there would be no cost to us if they needed to be removed. Their salesman said it would not be an issue. This is one of the first concerns that anyone would have, should they want to go solar. We shook hands and signed the agreement.
It turns out we need roof repairs. When we contacted Sunrun, they told us that removal of the panels was not in our signed agreement, and that IT WOULD COST OVER $7,000 TO REMOVE THEM FOR ROOF REPAIRS.
Since we got the estimate (from an outsourced company) about the removal (Sunrun doesn't remove the panels, they give it to someone else), we have tried to contact them about it.
E-mails and phone calls to the sales rep have gone unanswered. Certified mail to their corporate headquarters has been ignored. Sounds as though they were willing to tell us anything to sell us their contract, and then they conveniently disappear when there's an issue.
