Description of Work: After having had problems with my previous contractor with trust and billing issues I decided to try someone else. |I now have the service contract with Aqueduct for my heating and my plumbing. Love these guys because they have so much expertise and they are really an awesome bunch when it comes to knowledge. They are a little pricier than other contractors but seriously worth it in the end.

Description of Work: Oil fired hot water heater

Description of Work: Cleaned out a sink drain and maybe something else. I cannot remember. Thought his prices had gone too high for me. Alwys provides excellent service.

Description of Work: Annual boiler service, installation of a new hot water heater (we also purchased the unit from them).

Description of Work: Quoted an 800-1000 replacement for a leaking faucet. Actual cost of replacement parts (refused the service and did the repair myself) - $50. | |Quoted a repair for furnace at around $1,000. I refused service and called another vendor. Paid half the price and turned out the AQUEDUCT SERVICES tech misdiagnosed the problem and wanted to replace wrong part. | |Received a call couple of weeks later that i owe AC $1k+. Took a few days to resolve this but they did it in professional manner and cleared up the error.

Description of Work: Installed plumbing and gas for washer/dryer hookup in basement.

Description of Work: I called for an appointment for plumbing and heating A/C maintenance three weeks in advance. Made an appointment for 08/03/2015. Got a call from Aqueduct 07/29/2015 saying that they would like to reschedule me for 08/06/2015 because the dual skill plumber/heating and A/C specialist they were going to send was needed for a much bigger job. Asked if I really needed someone specialized in both plumbing and Heating/A/C. They misunderstood me when I told them I could forgo the plumber for 08/03/2015 and would keep the appointment for the heating/A/C tech on 08/03/2015. No one showed up on 08/03/2015 and they did not call either. I let them know that even though a dual-skill specialist might not be available on 08/03/2015, I would go ahead and keep the appointment for the heating/A/C tech. But no one showed up. I will not use them again and will go with a different provider.

Description of Work: Two men came, wasted 30 minutes looking at the jobs needed to be done which i explained and pointed out to them. They did not make any recommendations, did not know seen to know what tyhey were doing, very incompetant.

Description of Work: Unclog backed up main line that was backing water into 2 sinks.

Description of Work: Our tankless water heater began exhibiting an error code. When our normal plumber immediately said it needed to be replaced, along with a massive change to our venting system, I got a 2nd Opinion from Aqueduct. They came in, and asked the simple question - has anyone actually SERVICED and CLEANED the heater yet? Instead of trying to get money out of me, they did the simple thing first.

Description of Work: The services provided were professional and prompt. Our heat gave us issues for a few days and with little ones we became very concerned. We called Aqueduct Services and they came out the same night. The owner Dan diagnosed the issue and fixed it quickly. He and his co- worker also took the time to explain the ins and outs of some things! Great service and we will be using them again!

Description of Work: Rebuilt toilet and kitchen faucet. Gave 3 options for each issue,categorized by detail and cost. Overall they were very knowledgeable and skilled. The services are expensive but no complaints with the work done.

Description of Work: Provided a 30 point inspection which seemed thorough and professional. Poor rating is due to lack of follow-up regarding a proposal they were to provide to address issues we knew we had and others they recommended.

Description of Work: Needed a hot water tank replacement. They arrived on time, reviewed the situation, gave me a quote and had all the necessary items on their truck to replace my 75 gallon tank. They worked in a very diligent and professional manner and kept the area clean of any debris and removed the old tank. |After completing installation, they explained, in detail, the running and maintenance of the tank. |Very pleased with their organization and work ethic. Highly recommended. |

Description of Work: Installed a mini-split air conditioner in 2-storey residence. Despite some crummy weather and timing issues, all went just fine. Price competitive.

Description of Work: We called Aqueduct because one of our two sump pumps was not working properly and we had a few inches of water in our crawl space. They charged a total of $826.15 to pump out the water and replace the sump pump's float switch. They did the work reasonably well but their "flat fee" approach for each sequential step in the job means that the customer may, as we did, pay an exhorbitant hourly rate.
