Terrible, unprofessional service. They cancelled my appointment twice a couple hours before the technician was supposed to arrive. I had to wait 3 weeks for the first appointment then another week and a half for the rescheduled appointment only for it to be cancelled yet again THE DAY OF! I have to take off of work and miss getting paid to wait for a technician that canceled. So now I am down vacation days, money, time and still have no repair estimate. The supervisor was supposed to get back to me to discuss the issue and has still not reached out. Very disappointed and would never recommend this company.

I have never been more impressed with a heating/plumbing company. Absolutely terrific work, super tidy, our tech John is a super nice guy, he explained everything beautifully, and the price was very fair. Aqueduct is now our “forever” heating and plumbing company. I’m so confident, I signed up for a service partner agreement. Couldn’t have been better.

Paid upfront for an estimate on replacing heating system and water heater; money was to be used for the future project. The project was delayed for months due to architectural review board issues. When I contacted the company to get a start date post review board; they did not honor the money paid upfront for the estimate stating that it had been too long. They never explained there was a time limit. The only reason I didn't rate an "F" was due to the owner being very amiable during the estimate walk through, and explained everything very throughly.

I was very impressed with the customer service on the phone and their ability to get someone to the house the same day. He was very nice. I was given the 3 options which I gather is their claim to fame. SO, here is my take...I have a leaky faucet. I was given two quotes between $1100-1600 to do extensive repairs and the third between and cheapest option, $700-1000 which included a new Delta faucet. Give me a break! A Delta faucet like mine costs about $70. I paid the $79 visit fee plus tax for that visit. Highway robbery. This is a REAL review. Don't bet on all those 5-star reviews as I did.

We called Aqueduct Services to get our two furnace systems as well as the duct work in the basement ceiling inspected. John, the technician sent to our home, was terrific -- he was honest, competent, thorough, and friendly. I would highly recommend his services.

Very pleased with Aqueduct’s service! Our furnace broke in December, with a newborn due in a week! Aqueduct was able to move around appointments to install a new furnace 2 days before I delivered! Having heat in the house was paramount, so I appreciate how quickly Aqueduct sprang into action to help us. I definitely recommend them for your heating needs.

The service man was punctual, professional and knowledgeable. He listened to our concerns and inspected our system. There was some problems with parts relating to our dampers. He obtained the parts for us, and replaced them. Now our system is back on track. Thanks!

They did a superb job. Wilbert showed up on time -- in fact, a day early to get me hot water sooner -- and after he and his partner worked practically non-stop for almost ten hours, I had a new water heater, a new mixing valve, a new pump, new pipes, new this, new that, and it all worked perfectly. Beautiful job, too; on top of everything else, it also looks really nice! They also removed the old unwieldy water heater that was wedged into a very tight space and replace its substandard piping. Also...and very important...they patiently answered all my questions in a manner that I could understand, explained exactly what they were doing, kept my house clean, and updated me on their progress. In addition to being highly skilled and meticulous, they're also very pleasant people. You really get the sense that the customer matters.

Our central air went out on july3. I still got 4 estimates. Derek was so professional and considered all of our needs. He went above anyone else in designing our new furnace and central air. The price was competitive and they pushed up the installation Because of the heat wave, we are so happy we chose them. Honest and fair good work!

They showed up on time and fixed the problem with no issues. Brandon was neat and thorough. I would definitely use them again for water heater as well as for heat and AC.

This was included as part of my annual plan, which costs about $14/month and entitled me to a 15% discount on all repairs. The tech, John, was very polite, pleasant and prompt. All was in good shape. Pointed out a few minor items that merit monitoring but no hard sell on paying for things I don’t really need.

Excellent - extremely easy to work with, friendly, good quality, no issues whatsoever. Price was a little high but consistent with Westchester County. I suspect the work they did this week will prevent problems for me in the future, so it was worth it.

The repairs were done correctly and promptly. However, they charged for an initial visit, but they couldn't do the repairs for reasons outside of their or our control. That amount was not put towards the final charge for the work that was completed at a later time. The charge was very high for the work done. We requested an itemized estimate before the work and requested it after the work was completed. We never received it. We used Aqueduct for several years for plumbing and a major HVAC upgrade, and HVAC maintenance based upon reviews in Angie's List. We have always been very satisfied with the work and the people that did the work. There were some issues with the HVAC upgrade because of initial mistakes made by this company due to the complexity of the job. However, they were resolved. We continued to recommend this company and to use them. Given this latest experience, unfortunately, we can no longer recommend Aqueduct. They have lost a loyal customer.

Experience with this company and its personnel, from front desk (Cheryl) to project manager (Debbie) to technician (Brandon) was excellent all the way. Everyone was very pleasant and responsive. They fit me in, a new customer, during a peak trouble day for air conditioning everywhere. The technician was extremely professional and knowledgeable, explaining everything step-by-step as he went. Our 23-year-old central A/C was up and running on the first visit. Great experience overall and will call Aqueduct first when it is time to replace and upgrade.

Out of nowhere, water started pouring through my smoke detector, and I could not figure out why. So I called Aqueduct...on a Saturday...and they had Eddie show up a couple of hours later. Eddie is a good detective (as well as being personable, courteous, and patient). He tenaciously searched for the problem, and finally discovered that a loose spray head on an upstairs kitchen faucet was causing water to leak back into the "shell" (my word) of the faucet and then into the floor, and finally pour through a smoke detector downstairs. The fix was very simple, but the hard part was finding the problem. And that he did, and water is no longer gushing from my smoke detector.

For years, it seemed like my house just didn't get enough hot water; after fifteen minutes or so of showering, the temperature would become tepid. So Bobby and Dan suggested that they install a mixing valve to increase the amount of hot water, and also as a safety precaution against scalding if other parts of the system fail. Sounded good to me! Anyway, when Bobby started the work, he noticed that the piping on my water tank was done backwards -- so he suggested that it be corrected. I trusted his judgment, and so he went to work on the two issues. The final product seemed to work; I get more hot water now, which is what I wanted. All good!

The office was very professional and prompt in their responses and following up. The appointment was scheduled promptly and they did everything to accommodate at my convenience. I was kept informed at all times of when I could expect the arrival of the plumber. Brandon arrived on time and was very professional although a bit on the young side for my comfort. I was concerned about his experience since the house was built in 1950 - although old - very solid. The bathroom drip took three visits to fix - the second visit the owner, Dan came with Brandon and brought the part that was needed - except they were given a part for a shower and not the sink. Dan suggested using a piece of that part to hold it while they acquired the correct one the next day. Glad to report - that the drip was finally fixed. The kitchen sink turned out to be less troublesome, but more costly. The sprayer had to be replaced so a new faucet had to be purchased. To Brandon's credit he did provide me with 3 options to choose from. Although the pipes under the kitchen sink were old, they appeared to be pretty solid to me, but Brandon expressed concern that because of their age something could go wrong - so I chose to replace the pipes as well. It took long to have that work updated, but I'm a firm believer that was done years ago is better quality than what we have today - I guess time will tell. In hindsight I probably would not have changed the kitchen pipes - other than that it was an overall good experience with this firm.

The downside of perfect work is that the review is boring. Bobby did outstanding work, and demonstrated some top-notch craftsmanship. Look at the picture and see for yourself. And like everyone else I ever encountered at Aqueduct, he was polite, patient, and considerate. He wore booties in the house, answered all my questions in a language I can understand (instead of in plumber-ese), and is an all-around pleasant person.

Sometimes the best course of action is to do nothing. Bobby arrived on time and immediately got to work on a leak that I thought came from my furnace connection. He quickly determined that it was not coming from my unit. He suggested that I'd be better served if my management company sent their plumber as they would be more familiar with the system. His decision was spot on as the plumber who came from management knew instantly what was wrong. Everyone at Aquaduct, Debbie, Hunter and Bobby were there for me every step of the way. I will definitely use them again.

Robert Fitzgerald arrived on time and provided true Five Star Service. He was professional, efficient and friendly. The work was done in a timely manner with no problems whatsoever. He left the sink cleaner than before and the Quality of replacement is very good. I would definitely use this company and request this serviceman again.
