The initial office contact, Cindy, was very professional and courteous. Most impressed with her follow-up calls. Initially we had set up an annual service call, but had to change it to a repair call. Service tech came on time and clearly spelled out our options for repair. Also came and worked on a very rainy day. We definitely appreciate the heads up that we may have to replace the compressor unit sooner rather than later, but no pressure to do it right away. We will definitely use their service again and are considering signing up for an annual service contract. Pricing was reasonable and seemed in line with other service providers we priced.

I had used Aqueduct within the last year to install a toilet and perform some other plumbing maintenance.? I was very impressed by the professionalism of the technician, David Cwik and I was considering to use Aqueduct for a regular maintenance for the AC and plumbing.? I called Aqueduct to perform a pre-season check up on the AC and was ready then to sign up for the service plans.? Cindy was very helpful on the phone scheduling my appointment and also calling before the appointment to refine the time window further.? Dave came out to the house as scheduled (5/31) and did a thorough inspection.? My system was 13 years old and had a few issues.? I asked about replacement options as well.? Dave walked me through the options on doing or not doing the fixes related to the issues identified in the check up.? He also took his time explaining the options for purchasing a new system as I had requested.? He was very focused on answering my questions and explaining all the details to me, which took a bit of time.? His office called quite a few times during this period, but he repeatedly pressed 'ignore' on his phone in order to focus on our discussion - I really appreciated his customer focus.? I had also asked Dave to look at my water filtration system (we have well water) which had stopped working.? He also gave me three options there as well.? In the end, I decided to go with the replacement of the AC with a high efficiency heat pump (making a duel fuel heat system supporting our existing oil furnace) and also replacing the water filtration system.? Dave and Cindy worked with me to meet my scheduling needs - I needed the job completed by June 14.? The job took 2 days June 12-13.? Dave and Eric came on schedule early Wednesday morning and started on the AC unit.? They worked hard all day until about 6:30.? Dave told me he had jury duty the next day so another technician would replace him, but he said that he would come by after the jury duty to make sure everything was good. Thursday morning the crew had not arrived according to the 09:00 schedule.? I got a call from Cindy saying they had difficulty since in addition to Dave's jury duty his replacement technician's wife went into labor so they had to juggle the team.? She was sending Erick and George over right away and she was scheduling two additional technicians (Derek and another co-worker) who would arrive in the late afternoon to assist.? The team worked hard to get the job done as scheduled.? I really appreciated that.? Moreover, true to his word, Dave came by late in the day.? (I found out later he lives in Manhattan and this was where his jury duty was as well.? He came all the way out to South Salem after his day of jury duty).? Dave spent quite some time reviewing the work and making sure he was happy with the quality.? He spent also quite some time with me going over the operations of the systems and the operations manuals.? He was there with me quite a while - past 8:00 pm.? His professionalism and dedication was impressive and highly appreciated.? I was also impressed with the entire team.? I am very happy with the service I received and am very happy that I have annual service contracts with Aqueduct now for plumbing (includes the water filtration system) and for AC.? Thanks Dave!? Great. We called first thing in the morning and even though they were booked up that day they somehow worked us in. Their customer reps on the phone are amazing and updated us about what time they would show up. Eduardo M came, looked over the problem and diagnosed that we needed a brand new water heater (I guess after 20 years of service ours finally gave out). They ordered one for us and installed it perfectly. I also added a whole house water filtration system. I was very happy with all services performed.

Derek showed up as planned. He was very professional and thorough. He spent time servicing the air handler and the condenser and provided me with the operational condition. I knew both have to be replaced at some point and asked Derek for his recommendation. He spent the time to write up three proposals, left me with brochures and explained the differences between the three units. He never pressed me to replace my unit, never said my unit was going bad, just said the unit is working fine now. I was very pleased with the no-sales push. He provided all the information so I can make an informed decision. When the time comes to replace the unit I will be calling Derek and Aqueduct Plumbing!!

He failed in his mission and I was out $200 for a snake job. He seemed to have a limited ability to solve my problem. I feel I overpaid and I still have a problem with a slow flush toilet. There was an additional charge just to walk through my door, which I've since learned is NOT the case with every plumber. The man was nice enough and appeared professional - but for using a tool that cost about $10 at home depot for 5 minutes and charging that much and still having a problem - is a deal breaker for me.

Great. Got there early and fixed everything I had a problem with and then some. I called them and Eduardo M showed up. I was very happy to get a call that said he could actually come earlier than promised. He ran into traffic and actually let me know he'd be a few minutes late. These kind of little things are greatly appreciated. He fixed my problem (clogged main drain) quickly. I mentioned that we had an ongoing issue with our water pressure problem and he actually got the part and fixed it in just 40 minutes. My wife and I had been irritated by the water pressure for years and now it's perfect. Great job.

They were quick to answer the phone and send someone right out. We had water leaking out of our hot water heater and they replaced it the same day.

My experience with them went well. They didn't solve the initial problem but they came back an additional time to fix the issue.

I have used Aqueduct before to install plumbing and gas lines for a remodeling of a laundry / mud room - and the work they did there was excellent also. In this instance, having returned home late in a Friday evening from vacation to find a flooded basement from a faulty service line, I called Aqueduct. Their response was immediate - the owners called me from vacation - and could not have been more helpful. They took their time with me talking me through what to do and look for until we identified the leak and stopped the water flow. The next morning at 9 am, the plumbers were at our property. As always when the Aqueduct team arrive they were on time, courteous and highly professional. They performed a thorough check on the pipes / toilets / boiler and other utilities in the basement, found the issue, replaced the pipe and took care of the details. They always do the little things right also - such as wearing shoe coverings so as not to dirty your floors, bringing their own mats to leave work materials on - they take care to be neat and tidy in the house especially around children. This is an excellent company - family run - with the same faces showing up over time to do the work - I will use them again and recommend them highly.

Sump pump was old and started malfunctioning (running continuously, not turning off even after all water was pumped out of the well). I called on a Friday morning (on Good Friday), and they sent one of their guys - Dave - to my house within 3 hours. He was friendly, thorough, careful, and professional. He gave us 3 options for how to handle the problem. We opted to replace the pump, which he did for us quickly. The new pump is working great. Will definitely be calling on them in the future.

Serviceman was on-time but pricing is quite high. Also you cannot get a quote over the phone despite their "flat fee" pricing. The receptionist says its because the plumber will tell you exactly what needs to be done so they dont give any prices over the phone. When he gets here though, and exactly like I said, I only need for him to install a faucet, he says the flat fee is $415. Pretty crazy for a little over an hour of labor. Of course as he's almost done we need an adapter for the new faucet's hardware which he has in his van, costing an extra $110. The whole faucet cost $100, and yet they charged me $110 for the pair of connecter adaptors. Angie's list coupon only saved me $35 out of the $560. Also the mat he used to supposedly keep your floors clean was quite dirty so that I had to vaccuum up after him anyways (despite the shoe booties he wore). Not friendly either.

The company was extremely responsive to my call for help when I found a leak beneath my sink and they sent someone out the next day. Turned out to be a very leaky faucet causing the problem, but there was also a very small leak in the drain basket. The plumber had two types of standard faucets on the truck and neither matched what I had. I wanted the same type of faucet I had, so ee called the office and then told me it would be a special order and may take a few weeks to come in. He then quoted the replacement of the faucet and the drain basket and pipe beneath at more than $2,000. I checked online while he was there and found the same faucet for less than half the price quoted with free delivery the next day. I elected to order the faucet online but had him go ahead and fix the drain basket and pipe beneath - and that cost me $700 for about a 30-minute job. Shortly thereafter, I noticed the same dampness on the underside of the drain basket. I called the company and the owner came out to take a look. He found that the basket wasn't set in right and that was causing the small leak. The owner also noticed that the copper line going to the fridge was dripping slowly and suggested I replace that too. He had the plumber come back out and reset the drain basket. The second time around, it seems to be fine. He also replaced the copper line going to the fridge for $152. This company has superior customer service in terms of the folks who answer the phone and in the manner that they addressed my concerns. The service is really impressive, especially in this industry. They followed up to ensure satisfaction after each visit and were very pleasant. The owner was also professional and easy to work with. I may have felt better about the whole experience if I better understood the charges. I just couldn't understand why replacing a drain basket and metal/PVC pipe could cost $700. And replacing a copper pipe on the 2nd visit was only $152? When I told the owner I would have felt more comfortable with the charge if I understood the cost for materials vs. labor making up the $700 charge, he explained that they don't bill based on time and material... that they bill a flat rate. I know plumbing work is expensive but this cost just seemed to be excessive to me based on the work done and time it took to do it. For this reason only, I probably would not use this company again.

The A/C tune-up went well, it was a good experience. Had to enlist a different company to service my furnace.

We found AQUEDUCT SERVICES on "Angies List" and based on the high grades and glowing reviews they received from prior customers we decided to call them for a diagnosis of our 25 year old heating unit because of some occasional smell and sound issues we were experiencing with the unit. Our initial call was on a Friday and we received an appointment for the following Monday. We were told we could use the $35 coupon on ANGIE'S LIST for the diagnosis. On Monday, the owner, Dan Grieco, came along with a tech assistant, Kelvin. Dan, a Master Plumber, spent considerable time performing safety checks on the gas fired heating unit and the gas hot water heater. He also did a combustion analysis on the heating unit. He checked the draft on both units with a meter and examined the pilots and firing mechanisms on both. Additionally, he opened the sewer cover to check for gas smells and checked around the gas meter. We found him to be quite thorough in his examination and analysis. Throughout the examination and analysis, he explained everything he was doing to us. Once he assured us everything seemed to be safe with the heating unit and hot water heater, he moved on to the rushing water sounds in the baseboards in the 1st heating zone. He successfully purged the 2nd floor zone and attempted to completely purge the 1st floor zone but discovered he could not completely purge that zone because the valve for the 2nd zone was not in the right place so some air was trapped in a certain pipe section after the valve opening and air could not be fully released from that pipe section. He told us the valve should have been installed at the boiler, not where it was installed. Although this was not a problem that had to be fixed, Dan did present 2 options for rectifying the problem if we wanted to solve the sound issue completely. He explained both options thoroughly and also gave us estimates as to how much each option would cost. Never did he suggest our 25 year old heating unit needed to be replaced! Instead, he felt the unit was operating fine for its age with only a minor sound in the 1st floor baseboards. We found Dan & Kelvin to be very professional and thorough. They were at our home for over 2 hours. Before they left, Dan tagged all the important valves in the basement so if there ever was a problem we could immediately shut the water off for the burner, the hot water heater, and the entire house. He also placed a large safety instruction decal on the hot water heater. He then presented us with a folder with an explanation of the 3 service contracts they provide (heating, air conditioning, & plumbing). Included in the folder was his card, a magnet for the refrigerator, and a $35 Gift Card for future services.We found the entire experience with AQUEDUCT SERVICES to be top rate.

These guys are excellent. They arrive on time, they give you a fixed price and they work, HARD, until the job is done. They will be "our plumber" in the future. EG: Find another plumber that will work until midnight on a Saturday night!

They were very thorough. The man was punctual. It is just that he does not offer the program that I would like to have. I thought that their price was a little high because I want them to compute it. I found the same broiler, and he was charging me three times the amount for it. I am looking for another person to do what I needed to be done.

Plumbing overflow. Aqueduct was responsive and came to see if they could fix it. Unfortunately this was on a Friday afternoon, late and it turned out our septic system needed cleaning and they don't do that.

They're very reasonable. I plan to use them whenever I have plumbing problems.

They fix the toilet and the humidifier which cost way to much. I would not recommend them to others.

Dave was on time, polite, knowledgeable, patient; explained how everything worked & how to replace filters properly. Wonderful service.

The serviceman was prompt, extremely professional and took extra care to avoid a mess and cleaned up exceptionally well. The price was fair -- it was not cheap but he spent about 6 hours and, along with the cost of the water heater itself I guess $1800 is appropriate. When I had a water heater replaced before by Frank & Lindy plumbing it cost me $700 in just labor because it was still under warranty. BTW, NEVER use a STATE brand electric water heater installed by Frank & Lindy -- it failed twice within its ten year warranty period and I wouldn't even take the second warranty replacement (that would have cost $250 to deliver) because it was so unreliable. Aqueduct Plumbing is extremely professional. I have a contract that guarantees same-day service so your response time might not be as good, but the first time I used them (a year ago) they came on time and provided great service. I had the same technician both times and he is fantastic. He even let me pick his brain about some other plumbing items I was considering.

Our serviceman was professional and courteous. He arrived on schedule. When he was finished with the A/C unit, he took the time to answer some additional questions regarding our thermostat as well as a smell coming from our drain in the shower. He recommended an organic cleaning solution for the drain, which I purchased for $60 during the visit. The solution worked very well. Additionally he provided an estimate for a new thermostat, which we hope to replace soon! Everyone has been super sweet from this company.

I called in the morning to schedule an appointment - it was not an emergency - and someone was able to do the repair that afternoon - on time - good pricing. The plumber was professional and respectable.

Dan the owner came over for an estimate. He was very knowledgable and pleasant. I received a great price on the quote. Almost $4000 less than anyone else! I mainly went with him though because I felt I could trust him to do an honest and quality job. The removal of the old equipment and the install of the new system went fairly well. The only snag we ran into was that my electrician that I decided to hire didn't know what he was doing. Dan came over and spent several hours going through the proper connections with my electrician on a Friday night after 5pm! When it was completed, they took the time to clean up and make sure the system ran properly. Everything works great! I would recommend them to anyone that needs a new heating system. They are honest, hardworking, pleasant people. Please use them!!

The plumber was a very nice young man. He came promptly, did an excellent job very efficient.
