I’m not completely happy with them. They did a lot of services for us. We have a service with them where we pay $8 a month and they give us 15% off but I find them really overpriced anyway so I’m wondering about this deal. They seem to load on stuff that I don’t think I have to pay for. Everybody else seems to like them but that’s my experience. They did a good job but it was very expensive. The problem is that it’s $79 just for them to come by and they quoted us a high price for the piece and I got it cheaper elsewhere.

Aqueduct is always great to deal with! Their technician arrived on time, dealt with the awful clog in the shower drain then treated it with an enzymatic product that is meant to help prevent further clogging in the future. They called half hour before the tech was meant to arrive which I always appreciate. Oh, and they accept all major credit cards which is great if you don't happen to have your check book handy. Aqueduct is just wonderful! They've been our plumbers for nearly 5 years and have done everything from installing new toilets, replacing the main waste pipe connecting our house to city water/sewer to putting in our new boiler. They are always up on the latest in plumbing technology as well. Very impressive!

We had a leak that needed to be fixed, so focused on that issue instead of the 30 point check. After the leak was found and fixed, we joined an annual maintenance program, where the 30 point check was included. Therefore, we did not end up needing to pay the $143. In the end we paid the vendor directly.

Friendly staff confirmed both appointments and plumbers arrived on time for both appointments. Plumber was polite and professional and offered several options at different prices for the disconnection/reconnection of water and gas lines. Work was completed quickly and everything works well.

I made an appointment weeks in advance and rearranged my schedule, got up early after a late night show in nyc, waited for them to show up between 10-12 and they never showed up. I confirmed the appointment on Friday. At 12:00, I called to find out that they left a message on my cell phone that if they didn't hear from me to confirm in the morning so they sent the plumber on another job. I do not live with a call phone attached to my hip and didn't realize that they had called AGAIN, to confirm. My time is precious to me and I have now wasted a Saturday on yet another unreliable contractor. Try your luck with someone else if you can find any. I'll take my chances and do the work myself!

They were prompt and courteous. Both of my toilets were clogged and ours is a large household so i was under pressure to get at least one fixed by the time the kids came home from school. I had called some other plumbers but they hadn't returned my calls. The y replaced the faulty toilet, as the plumber rightly guessed I had had a lot of trouble with it and keeping it would mean an ongoing hassle and cost. He could see the other toilet was in better condition before I told him and only fixed it. So far we haven't had any trouble with either toilets. They were very quick--all was done before the kids came home from school and disaster was averted. Note that the above price includes the cost of the replacement toilet as well as fixing the other toilet and disposing of the old one.

After purchasing the coupon from Angie's List and entering a desired date for the inspection, I expected to hear from the vendor but I had to call to initiate contact with them. Aside from that, once I made contact and we scheduled, it was no problem. Cody, the technician, was right on time and performed the services as requested. Neat, clean, no problem. Would use this company again.

They sent an employee out to the house who never intended on doing any of the work. This was somewhat of an emergency and I needed the work done then. They gave me an estimate of $1,929.00 trying to up-sell me. When I denied the the price he gave me a bill for $79 for the service call even though he didn't do anything.

They called me promptly, and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Eduardo was very nice, and fixed the situation. He was very clean, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He also came back today, because the hot water wasn’t coming on fully. He is going to put in a new faucet. They were a nice company to work with, and have been on top of everything. I would recommend them to someone else who needed a plumber.

We had a small problem that they were happy to come and deal with. Two other plumbers didn't even bother to return my calls as the job was so small no doubt. Very professional service. Nice polite respectful workman. Very knowledgeable We signed up for the service plan.

I called the company to report a leaking water heater. They were available the following saturday and brought along a couple water heaters to ensure that if i needed a replacement they would have the correct one on hand as they were concerned about being able to get a water heater on saturday. They checked out the old heater, noticed that it was very hot, checked out the gas ventilation and determined that there was an issue with the chimney that needed immediate attention. They installed the new water heater, placed it on bricks to elevate it because of basement water issues. They removed old heater and cleaned up nicely. They could not turn on water heater because of chimney issue, so provided information on how to turn it on once that issue was remedied. I had chimney fixed, turned on water heater and it is working perfectly. Dave was extremely helpful and provided a lot of good information to a 1st time home buyer of a very old house. I plan to use them again for other plumbing and HVAC issues.

We moved into our house less than a week ago. Old Murphy jumped right in and the previous owner's handy work lasted exactly 5 days longer than they owned the house. Aqueduct Services was able to be here, the day after a holiday, within 2 hours and had the problem fixed within 3 after that. They showed up, did what they said they would, were professional and courteous. They offered a service plan which gives 15% off future work, and the 15% saved me more than two years of the plan just on the first transaction.

I ended up using the company they recommended to me

I was very pleased with Aqueduct Services. While they may not be the least expensive choice, I highly value their professionalism and quality of work. They were prompt, fully explained the options, and executed the installation exactly like they described. I plan to use them for all of my water, heating and air-conditioning needs in the future.

It worked out fine but they didn’t contact me for 3 weeks. I had left 2 messages for them. On the 3rd week, someone finally called back and they apologized. They said for whatever reason it got missed. Once they contacted me, it was fine.

Dave was very prompt, responsive, professional and thorough. He took the time to explain in detail the problems and how to fix them. I'll definitely use them again.

Dan did a diagnostic on air conditioner and fixed the problem

We have been discovering all kinds of surprises in our new home and one happened to be a tub that would not drain. John C. was sent out quickly and conveniently by their amazing coordinator and he got right to work. He was here all day making sure the problem was fixed and didn't lead to any more issues. Snaked the drain from 2 points, replaced Galvanized pipes with PVC, and tried his best not to rack up too many costs since we'll be redoing everything sooner than we thought. Cleaned up, was kind, and courteous throughout the whole process also recommending local contractors and advice for future work to be done (but was not pushy with sales or anything). Will definitely use Aqueduct again if issues arise!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay.

Though the crew (sorry I don't remember their names) did install the valves as requested, when I returned home to inspect the work, I found that the top of the pedestal was loose and the drainage trap (goose neck pipe) was not seated properly. After calling to express my findings and disappointment, the owner (Dan) made arrangements to come by to review the work. What we discovered was that, due to the age of the house and the fixtures, the pedestal was not adequately secured to the wall and the trap had to be replace. Because none of this had been explained before and he would need to replace the goose neck pipe in order to re-secure the sink at least to the state it was in before his crew began their work, Dan offered to replace the pipes and provide a semi-permanent patch to brace the sink to the wall, both at no additional cost. Though their prices are a little high, their level of service and dedication to customer satisfaction made it worthwhile. I would defenitly use them again, with confidence!

He came, he said that it could be from 900 to 1500 to change the faucet if they supply the faucet. It would be 681 with my faucet. 466 if they used the old parts with my faucet. There prices were very expensive. He said that he does not have washers in the car so he cannot. He would have to go back to the office to get them. He said that it is because of the tile. He said that it was from a hairline crack in the wall. He finally said that I do not know where it is leaking from but he will have to put a hole in the wall and it will be $150. I asked for a slip, he said I could not have it. He went out and called his boss and came back with a slip that appeared to have lower cost. He asked me what cost I would like. I told him that I don?t do business like that. I put on the note for him and the check that I was dissatisfied with the work. I was very frightened to see what his response would be.

How'd it go??? It went fantastic!!!!!!! Found them on Angie's list and as usual the reviews were accurate. When they first showed up at my house they had laid a red carpet at my door. Unnecessary, but a nice touch. Derek automatically put show covers on whenever he came into my house. He was courteous, professional and kept his word. The work was done on time, on budget. Plus he replaced my system in a July heat wave and did not over charge me. In fact he was cheaper than another company I found here and called.

I contacted Aqueduct Service when my air conditioning stopped working (of course as soon as we needed it!). They came quickly and inspected the system. The technician (Derek) identified a number of problems with the 20 year old unit and game me a range of options, from an attempt to repair it (with no guarantee of success since prior homeowner did not maintain it) to a complete replacement with AC only or heat pump. We decided for the heat pump option. The system was delivered quickly (about one week) and installation took almost 3 days. The technicians were very professional and worked hard till late in the evening to complete everything as fast as possible. The new system works really well - provides more cold air than the previous old unit and it is really quiet. We'll see this winter how the heat pump works but I do expect to be able to cut oil consumption quite a bit.

Nice and courteous customer service!

aTheir office was very professional and scheduled someone to inspect the sink and give me a quote on that day. The plumber showed up on time and I explained how the sink was leaking and that we wanted to replace the entire vanity, sink and any pipes that may need to be replaced. I told him we would purchase the sink and vanity at Home Depot and they could come back and install it the following week. It was a standard size item and so it would be easy to find. After 15 minutes of looking under the sink, he declared that he could not find a leak and that it probably sealed itself. I found that a bit crazy since we had captured a quarter of a bucket full of water the night before. He then quoted me $1365 for the installation. "What", I asked and he repeated the number. I reiterated that I was purchasing the sink and vanity. He nodding and said, "Yes, I know." Then he asked for the $75 for the service visit, except it was $87 with tax included. . But not to worry, because it would go against the full service charge, if we used them. He couldn't find the leak, spent 15 minutes giving me an estimate that was out of the ballpark and charged me a full hours time. After he left, I called my Best Way Plumbing. They came on time the following week and did an exceptional job for a little over $300.
