Kevin was really prompt on returning your call or e-mails. If he cannot get to it right away, he will e-mail you or call you to let you know that he is working on it or get to it and give you approximately time frame of when he can give you an answer (estimate or design change or response from the vendor or whatever it is). (unlike a lot of vendors or contractors who do not get back to you even after many promises of getting back to you) His rough estimate for the project was very close to what it ended up as the actual cost, and that estimate was lower than the other home improvement chain's proposal which took a long time to receive. As I first mentioned, Kevin told us when he could give us the estimate, and he delivered his promise like any great merchant would do.
If you use your own contractor and bought the material directly, I am sure it would have been less expensive, and that is the only reason I gave B instead of A for the price.(but remember, B is still "Good") In our case, we are very happy that we used Kevin Fahy Kitchen because we did not have to worry about each process of planning and executing the renovation. The carpenters were very friendly and did a great job installing the cabinets and hooking up plumbing and electrical outlets. The only minor drawback was that we had to wait for about 2-3 weeks after the cabinets were installed to have the counter top installed by another vendor. We knew about it so overall, the whole thing came together in the time frame that Kevin estimated. He would not tell you something just to get your business if something is impossible or he cannot promise, but he will give you his best estimate on how the whole project will take place.
We also used the financing (Small Project VISA) options, which made it easier for us to decide to go with Kevin.
We did find him on Angie's List, and we are very happy that we used his service for this project.

Kevin provided creative design options for my medium sized kitchen. He made sure I was well informed about the products he offered so I could make educated decisions. He also helped me find an excellent contractor to coordinate the project. This was the most pleasant and pain free remodeling experience in my 35 years of homeownership

They were very efficient, accommodating and prompt.  We were very happy with the service.

So far, they have only come and measured, given remodeling ideas, and drawn up plans for kitchen remodel.  However, they have been punctual, professional, knowledgeable.

I liked everything about them from their professionalism to their service. They did what they told us they were going to do and it was done on time.

The blue prints were 3D and allowed us to move them around and see how we wanted the kitchen to look. The work went extremely well and the kitchen is great. His prices were reasonable and very responsive.

Considering what I was looking for it went fine, easy to deal with!

This was a great experience. They were very responsive and concerned about our overall satisfaction. The contractor they brought in was incredible. By the end of 6 weeks we felt like he was part of our family. The work was done on time and on budget. Would definitely use again.
