I accepted a realistic estimate from another provider

I liked him, I tried to hire him and he wouldn't answer my phone call. I told him that I was going to hire him but I had a few more questions but he never answered his phone. I liked his attitude.

I originally contracted Mike to do one medium-sized job (repairing a damaged door frame) and a number of smaller jobs.  What I noticed during the initial estimate was that Mike was not looking for ways to turn little jobs into big jobs.  On the contrary, he suggested cheaper fixes for a number of areas where I thought I would have to do more.  Mike has wonderful attention to detail and clearly takes pride in a job well done.  He also enjoys this kind of work which makes him very pleasant to deal with.  I was so satisfied with the initial work and the price that I asked Mike to do some interior painting for me as well.  He only works for a few hours in the evening, but he is very efficient and keeps coming back until the job is done.  I believe I am getting high quality work at a very fair price and no nonsense.  I recommend Mike highly!

He came right over to look at work to be done, gave a written estimate and showed up exactly as promised. Mike jacked up the steps that were sliding out of place, braced them from underneath and braced entire staircase so the it would not seperate again. Did the work while I was work. Came by later that day to review work done and to collect payment. Very Satisfied!
