Sean Mann Painting

Sean Mann Painting painted the exterior of our house in July 2011.  At the time I was pleased with the work.  I negotiated with Sean a slightly lower price if I would recommend him to our neighbors on the neighborhood listserv. I am now completely embarrassed by that.  The work appears shoddy and Sean's behavior has been appalling.
The contract stipulates a three-year guarantee on the paint job (excluding water damage). Within a month after the job was done, I contacted Mr. Mann to ask him to examine two spots on the rear of the house, and to ask him for the name of the paint used on the trim. He come over and agreed that the primer was showing through, and said he would take care of it. Since that time he has failed to follow up, even after many dozens of phone calls and text messages. Some of the recent text messages seemed to have some result, in that he promised to come look at the house again and said to leave paint out, but he never showed. Two years of unreturned messages and ignored phone calls, after I recommended him to my neighbors, is very frustrating. And I still don't know what paint was used on the trim.
