Scanlon Electic

The provider had his spouse call me to cancel.  Today is the date of the service, 10/30 at 10am.  Since it had been 15 days since the acceptance of the quote, I confirmed and received a reply acknowledging today's appointment on 10/27.  I took the day off from work to be here for the install only to be told (again, by his wife) that he had 3 new builds he was working on that "needed to be done today."  I find it hard to believe that this wasn't apparent to him earlier in the week.  The absolute lack of professionalism and courtesy here is astounding.  I cannot in good faith recommend this man for any type of job whatsoever.  I should add that I was referred to him by David Lane's Stereo Shop, and I intend to tell them about my experience.  I can't hold Dave accountable, I practically forced the referral out of them!  As for Brian, all I can say is that good for him having the big construction gigs, but when the building season ends I'm sure he'd be looking for easy wiring jobs like mine for a quick buck, and I truly hope others see this review and view it as a cautionary tale for working with Scanlon Electric.

Brian put in a light in our utility closet about a month ago. He was punctual, clean and friendly. He has done quite a bit of work for us here too. He has also put in emergency generator. He installed a ceiling fan in our living room. He also installed electrical work in my shop in the basement. He modified some wiring to allow for switches on the wall to work property. He put a ceiling fan in our den as well. He also did the electrical work for a new powder room that we had put in.
