Thank you Tony and all the guys! Tony and his crew did a wonderful job! They transformed my front and back yard to look amazing! Tony is truly an artist and his crew were amazing as well. They all showed up and worked non-stop to create a beautifully designed landscape. We were so pleased with the way the landscape turned out that we decided to re-pave the walkway and Tony did a beautiful job with that as well! We selected Tony to do the landscaping for our pool installation project and he and his team were by far the best contractors of the group of 12 we used for the whole project. I wish every business owner was like Tony and every team treated us as well as his did. Tony’s understanding of landscape design is surpassed only by his delightful demeanor and desire to please his customers. He brought truckloads of plants for us to choose from and he worked through each of the areas of the yard to ensure we were happy with what he did. He kept all of his appointments, he was prompt every morning and still responds to my texts about how to care for plants months after the project completed. Towards the end of the project, Tony’s team installed new sod all around our pool when I was away on a business trip. When Tony realized that my sprinkler company made a mistake and that a part of the new lawn wouldn’t get watered correctly, he went out to Home Depot himself, bought a temporary lawn sprinkler, set it up at my house and taught my wife how to use it. They should all be like Tony. I’ll never use another landscaper.

Roman Land Design recently completed a backyard overhaul for us and we could not be happier. Tony worked closely with us every step of the way on the design of our patio and landscaping. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and offered his personal opinions and advice at each stage of the project which we found extremely helpful. Our project included over 2000 sq ft of pavers, stone facing, pool coping, sod, landscaping, relocating a shed, adjusting the grade of the property, etc. and it all turned out amazing. We loved Tony and his work so much that we also had him fix a portion of our front yard landscape that was done poorly by another company. Going forward we will contact Tony for all of our landscaping and masonry projects. He and his crew are top notch. Very professional and do a fantastic job. Highly recommend.

Been using them for the last 2 years. They did 3 projects for us. Had 5 companies come to my house to give us quotes and the first 4 that came to the house tried getting me to do more work than what was needed. Tony was able to design something very nice to keep me within budget. Even when I started looking to do more things (that probably didn't need to get done) Tony would remind me of my budget and didn't allow me to spend more than what I initially told him that I wanted to. My backyard is now a whole lot more functional thanks to them. Tony is very personable and his crew was very professional. They were all friendly with my wife and kids. Good crew. Even recommended them to another family and they were very happy with them as well. Thanks for your help guys.

I had tried to obtain quotes and service from many landscapers. They either didn't show up or gave me a ridiculous estimate. I initially called Tony because I seen his trucks around our neighborhood and, after speaking with neighbors that had used him, found that they were pleased with his work and how professional he was. I had tried making my yard beautiful but didn't quite accomplish my vision. After speaking with Tony, he made me see the vision that I was hoping to have done on my own. He and his men came with choices of many plants and allowed me to choose what I wanted in my yard and made suggestions as to what would work best in areas in my yard. I have alot of shade and not much sun in areas so it makes it hard to find the right plants but his vast knowledge of horticulture helped make my yard beautiful and colorful. Best of all, he's hands on. As a business owner, he's there on the job site so you know things are getting done. I later had him come back to put a patio in my back yard and again to install a pergola. I can tell you that I have gotten many compliments on my yard and when I sit outside, I feel like I'm in a park. I love what he's done to make my home a place I can feel pride in when I have my friends and family over. I would recommend him highly to anyone. His knowledge and professionalism are beyond reproach. His crew are courteous and clean. I recently had him come back to work on the front of my home. He becomes a friend that you just want to have come back again and again. He even helped my daughter with her homework. He's just the type of person you feel comfortable putting your trust in. Plus, his prices are reasonable. I wish I had more work for him to do!

I had the worst experience with Roman Land Design. Tony initially comes across as a nice guy who seems very knowledgeable about both masonry work and planting. However once we agreed to do the work, everything changed. We ended up building a 22 x 15 patio and it took over 3 weeks just to complete this. Guys would come randomly, work half days, skip days and of course Tony was never on site. While the work looked good initially, I am seeing huge gaps now between the pavers where weeds and other debris is now accumulating. Some of the stones have shifted on the step and no longer flush against each other - these are all signs of poor workmanship. I tried raising these issues with Tony but to no avail. Unforuntaely things got worse. He promises to bring a "truckload" of plants/flowers/trees for you to pick for the landscaping - in truth he brought only the items he planned on actually planting so you didn't actually have a choice as he claimed. The worst part is two bushes are already dying including one he claimed was "over $500". I looked it up - you can get it for well under $100. And now for the worst part of this whole ordeal. At the end, he was to come back and complete a seating wall on the patio. It has been 5 WEEKS and he has not returned a single phone call or text. Everything I call his cell, it rings once and then it goes to voicemail as he is clearing rejecting my calls. I even called his office number and still those weren't returned. Please please stay away from doing business with Roman Land Design - we were fooled by Tony's charisma and knowledge and now we have an unfinished job that has parts already dying (bushes) and the patio coming apart. Tony is just another crummy contractor who cares about the money in his pocket and not doing the job right. AVOID!

Antonio built a beautiful patio and landscaped our entire home on our newly constructed house approximately 4 years ago (more later on why I am only writing this now) . He continues to service it annually, and will come around as needed to do any maintenance. At the time he was one of the cheapest. I was also a little skeptical because no one had used him in the development, but I went to some of his other homes that he had done work on as part of my due dillegence. The first thing I noticed after comparing them to other landscapers in the area was that he built reasonable and unique designs that didn't get overgrown like most of the other landscapers building "forests." He also used a unique mixture of plants and his stone work was excellent. He understood that we know nothing about plants and quite frankly, it's not my thing. That being said, he just knew what to do. Like the other review alluded to, the afternoon before planting he dumped what amounted to a small nursery worth of plants in our backyard. My wife and I picked out the ones we liked the most and he basically went around and planted them in the best spots to make the best overall look. This was not a small job, but it came out great. As a result, he has gotten a bunch more jobs in the development and I've even gotten to know some of my neighbors as they have used him over the last few years. Now onto the reason it took me 4 years to write this review: Today I called Antonio to see if he could come over immediately to remove some of the pavers on our front stoop (he built it out as we only had cement steps when we moved in) for our carpenter who was replacing a bunch of rotted trim including our door sill and door frame. The pavers were in the way and making the removal of the sill difficult. Well Antonio called me back almost immediately and sent his mansion over within 30 minutes. Keep in mind, other than maintenance, he has not done major work for me in 4 years. I consider Antonio a friend and I enjoy when he is in the area the chance to have a conversation with him. He is an interesting person and has had a multitude of experiences. He also recognizes that at the end of the day the customer doesn't want a lot of hassle and is spending a lot of money to have a professional who knows how to get the job done. Hopefully one day I'll buy a much bigger house to have Antonio landscape!

Tony came and gave us vision for our horribly misgrown yard and property. He created a beautiful backdrop and made my yard beautiful. He is an amazingly professional person. He crew was hardworking and very polite. I have to say that even talking to Tony is very interesting and you could spend hours listening to his stories. One of the most unique things that sets him apart is that instead of going to a nursery to pick out plants and flowers for your yard, he bringsthem to you and you can see them in the areas that you envision. I have never seen that before and made it great to see what potential my property had.
