J The Painter is terrific. He is such a nice guy, he is conscientious and patient. He is almost too patient! His work is good and he has a work ethic. He wants to do it to help me. He wants to help me organize my garage. He is not licensed and insured. He is a small time guy and he works for himself, but he is very conscientious. I think he is not as busy as he should be: he is a find! I've had the world's worst here. I'm an older woman with children and I would never leave somebody in my home by choice, but I have to get the kids to school and back again. Before I moved in I had all my belongings in boxes, I wasn't living here during the renovation, and the workmen walked out with half my stuff - and their work was lousy. I'm still getting over them. Not to mention the stuff they would break, including expensive plumbing items. I am a single mom and I think they took full advantage of me. The friend who recommended them to me said "You can trust them." Famous last words. After all these bad experiences, I am so glad to have found Julian Dickson. I am really impressed. He travels, he arrives at 9 o'clock on the dot. Yesterday he had to leave early and he wanted to deduct money! I said, Julian, you have been very fair with me. I am not going to dock money. He is a nice, lovely guy. Now he is helping me touch up the work that those other guys did. He is a real handyman, he will do anything. His main thing is painting, and he doesn't get paint on anything! He works non-stop. He doesn't even take lunch - I feed him lunch, of course, but he doesn't leave time for lunch.
