Auto Service
When we moved from St. Joseph's here my wife said we will have to be within an hour to that garage because we are not moving that far away, he is that good. I have done some repairs of my own, but it is cheaper for me to bring the car to him than to do the repairs myself. When I needed master cylinder for my brakes, I got one for $130 and he put one on for $85. My nephew needed an engine rebuild, he got estimates of $1200 to $1400 and Christman's Auto did the whole thing for $650. Six months later he had problems with it and he did the whole thing again for free. My Camry did not pass inspection because of the rear backup lights and they wanted $50 just to do a test on it and then they wanted to charge me to fix it. They also said I was going to need a structure of about $900 and when I brought it to Christman's Auto he said for the structure it would about $150 each, it should not cost that much, and then he turned the key on and checked in some wires and for $8 fixed it. He was with Nissan and he thought they were ripping him off, which they do, and then he opened up his own garage. He has got several lifts and does not have to advertise. We bring our car out and leave it. We then go there pick the car up and pay about 50-60% of what it normally would cost. He knows everything. I call him up and he tells me exactly what is wrong with the vehicle. He has another mechanic, who is very talented also. He has dealerships dropping out vehicles. The people who are going to bring their car to him are going to get a truthful, accurate cost and it is going to cost them a fraction of what it would cost any place else.
