Heating and Air Conditioning Service
Chuck Delaney and C & R Heating and Air Conditioning were contracted
to replace the floor steam heating system in a large old house in
Syracuse. Chuck was paid a down payment of $2,100. After we paid him
the $2,100 he removed the old heating system and sold the scrap metal.
After about 3 weeks he stated that he needed an additional $500 because
he forgot to add additional materials to his estimate. For the next 3
weeks Chuck made up elaborate lies as to why he was unable to show up to
the job each day. When I threatened to file a claim against him he
said he was on the highway on his way to the house to finish. He never
made it. I had to find another contractor to finish the work and I sued
