His knowledge of construction wasn't as great as I had hoped. He did not do some basics like membranes on concrete, studs behind sheetrock joints so the sheetrock wouldn't move, moving the appliances so they would not be damaged (which they were), wrong tape on a sheetrock joint, wrong spackle, etc. He claimed to have extensive construction knowledge and then missed some basics. In terms of cost, he was quite reasonable except for the agreed upon materials costs. He inflated his materials costs by at least $800+ for profit, even though I agreed to pay for most materials and would reimburse him for any materials he paid for. (When I asked for his receipts, he got upset with me.) His recommended plumber was quite lacking in abilities, (he told me later he chose him based on availability and not skills). When there were construction issues, he got arrogant with me and walked off the job, leaving me with a pile of construction material that he left on the site and had promised to remove. I have spent time and $ having pocket door reframed because it wasn't straight so couldn't be trimmed until corrected, had painter put stud behind sheetrock joint so that sheetrock wouldn't crack, had to have his spackling job re-spackled, etc. Would definitely not recommend him.
