Our main water line was leaking which required to shut off water to the house. Alessio Pipe and Construction was refereed to me and I could not be happier. Service was prompt, professional and super efficient. They replaced the pipe, upgraded the line and left the house and yard in better condition then they found it. They even seeded the areas where they had to dig. They were friendly and treated us like they have been in business for 100 years--which they have! Truly exceptional service.

We were shocked when Suffolk County Water Authority advised us we would be getting a $7000+ water bill--that we had a leak which turned out to be in the water main. The Alessios (this is a business started 4 generations ago) came as soon as the weather allowed (there was snow on the ground..) The patriarch, Bob, and his sons Jeff & Rob were wonderful; despite the major complications they ran into, they remained engaging, personable & unflappable--and professional. They were able to leave the property as they found it (despite having to run more than 100' of pipe.) The other contractors we spoke to would have dug a a trench for the whole distance; these guys have some remarkable equipment--and after using 1 device to plot the path of the old pipe, they were able to dig a series of pits--and punch through with a pneumatic device. I can't say I enjoyed having to replace a water main, but that said, these made it very easy for us.

They were always reachable by phone, they did great service, and the two brothers are absolutely gorgeous. They had to get a permit for us and bring a lot of heavy duty equipment. They dug a big hole for us from our home to the front of the road and put the pipes in. Afterward, they filled in the hole and then seeded it.
