911 Restoration

We had Roy I think his name was out to our condo building to investigate ark water streaks on the interior of the drywall in a condo building. They appeared every 16 inches and were dark in color. We had no idea what was causing this. 911 Restoration came out to investigate, and supplied an estimate for over $7,100. This included ripping out all the drywall and kitchen cabinets, replacing all the insulation, rehanging drywall, sanding priming and painting. This seemed extremely extensive, so we got a second opinion. They informed us that the humidifier was simply turned too high. That combined with the fact that candles were being burned often, and the soot and humidity combined to create the dark marks. So no repairs were necessary besides turning down the humidifier. And 911 wanted over $7,000! Sorry, no.

We called them on a Wednesday and they were able to come the next day.  They didn't throw everything out.  They left some things on the lawn in heavy plastic bags so we could decide what we wanted.  They were respectful of our property.  When they came to pick up the drying machinery, I asked them to spray one more time for mold since when they did it the first time it was still wet.  They were very accommodating and punctual.   We only had one other estimate.
