We chose Crisvalih for this project because we had used them before for another big project and were extremely please with the results. They were punctual, professional, and the job was well done. Their estimate, which they stuck to, was in line with other estimates we had received. Materials for this job were ordered, and arrived the day before work was scheduled to begin. The Crisvalih team was there early the next morning, ready to work. The job was done expertly and cleanup was thorough. I would hire them again without hesitation.

Both bathrooms were completes in 2.5 weeks. Cristian and his crew showed up every morning at 7 am on the dot and worked through the day. They were systematic and organized. Cris also had a good eye for aesthetics and was meticulous in lining up the tile on the walls. He also replaced some old plumbing that connected the two bathrooms. The pipe had so much gunk that if this was left behind, I would have had problems a year from now. They were respectful and consulted us along the way. I would definitely recommend them!

Job went very well and only took 2 weeks as promised. We were concerned as this is our only bathroom and if we didn't have another place to stay would have been a problem. Be aware that the toilet is the last thing to go back! Cris and his men worked quickly and cleanly and were very accommodating. Pay attention to the size of your bathroom and what will and will not fit. Be as precise as you can with measurements. Cris also worked well with our plumber who we chose separately.

The job went well.  They were quick, clean and always showed up when they said they would. I would highly recommend them and use them in the future.

Work was not only done on time and met our budget but it surpassed our expectations. From start to finish Christian was involved in every aspect of the job.

Cristian Lopez is very professional, he was recommended to me from my best friend who has used Cristian for over 10 years. My bestfriend since high school first used Cristian for construction jobs at his business that he owns to completely renovate offices and then had total re- designing of his house. Cristian renovated my friends home so well that I always comment every time I visit them and that is why when I decided to remodel my master bath I called Cristian to give me an estimate and discuss possible design ideas. Cristian was just as professional, knowledgeable, creative, and respectful as I was told. He is clean, organized, truthful, and detailed. I met with another contractor to just be smart about what the job should entail and see what price I was quoted...the contractor was recommended by a neighbor.... Cristian's estimate was such a more detailed estimate and the price was so much less and the quality of the materials was better grade - the thickness of the duraroc for the walls and the type of grout that was being used....Cristian Lopez made my vision a reality - my new bathroom is INCREDIBLE!!!! It's beautiful and sometimes I just can't believe I'm in my house because it looks like a bathroom from a high end luxury hotel!!! I already have spoken to Cristian about finishing my basement and he was able to plan the construction job in stages so it will be affordable - I am so excited to have Cristian transform my home. I have such a sense of peace and gratitude to say that I now have a contractor - Cristian and construction company- Crisvalih Home Remodelation to depend on and trust with anything I need or want done.... My family and I have been using Crisvalih for many years for general home remodeling and are always happy with their service. When I purchased my condo in Babylon in 2009, the forman Chris and his crew completely gutted half of my first floor, re-sheetrocked, painted, and installed wainscoting and molding. They also renovated a half bath on the first floor. Most recently, I had Crisvalih come in to paint my upstairs bedrooms and hallway, and replace old vinyl tile in my entryway with ceramic tile. Chris's crew is punctual, clean, and friendly. I have absolutely nothing but positive feedback for all of the work they have done for me. I have recommended them to friends and have always received great feedback about the quality of their work. I am about to close on a home in Brightwaters, and I will be using Crisvalih for painting and general carpentry. 

Christian was professional, timely, did skilled work, and also worked really well with  plumbing, tiling, and carpentry on our bathroom project. He is exactly what you want on a small to mid sized project; low overhead, honest and experienced.
My wife and I had a bit of a miscommunication and Chris helped mediate  and was patient and got us back on the same page. Really great guy to work with and did not nickle dime use when we made minor changes.
We would highly recommend him for any job.

We hired Crisvalish Home
Remodelation, Inc., because they were doing a bathroom remodel for our next
door neighbor.
The job was to
level up our basement floor (concrete slab), install floor tiles throughout the
basement, including the small powder room, as well as putting wall tiles in
that room.  The whole project took about
a week to finish, so not that bad. From the beginning we had an issue with
leveling the floor. The contractor insisted to use mix of cement and sand
instead of self-leveling compound, he said it was better for the basement so we
went along with it. This option contributed to later problems. 6' level and
straight edge did not do the job on 450 sq feet surface in 4 different rooms.
The floor was not leveled properly. When we mentioned this to him, he sad
"wait for the final project". 
We were installing ceramic wood like tiles (dark, 24 by 6 inches) and we
asked for a very dark grout so the finished product would like hardwood
flooring. To achieve this, tiles must be installed almost perfectly. Half way
through the job we have noticed that grout was too light and we asked for this
to be redone. Contractor redid only the main area and left the walking closet
and utility room without correction (not a big issue but says something about
his integrity). Later we realized that, the problem was not with the color of
the grout but with white sides of the tiles being seen at an angle and making
the grout lines look lighter than they really were. Putting second layer of
grout masked the problem but it did not solve it.
The wall tiles
in the small powder room were installed in a rush: grout not even in all the
places, thick in some and thin in others, grout was not cleaned up properly
after it was laid leaving the excess to dry on the tiles, tiles were not cut
precisely in the corners leaving very unsightly and large grouted spaces.  We had to ask for few tiles to be re-laid
because there was too much adhesive under them and they would stick out of the
wall more than others. 
At the end we
just wanted them out of the house so we paid the balance due and said our
goodbyes.  After we cleaned the floor we
have noticed that some of the tiles that were installed were chipped ? we had
plenty of extra material so there was no need to use any damaged tiles. Also
about two weeks after the job was completed we have noticed that some of the
tiles would squeak when we walked on them ? remember these are ceramic tiles
laid directly onto concrete!  The only
explanation for this was that the bonding material failed.  We called the contractor to remedy this and
it has been about 2 months now and several dates set by him to show up with no
success.
The bottom line: the job was done, but quality was
substandard.  Job was rushed and the
contractor did not seem to care about our satisfaction.  We would not recommend this contractor.

From day 1 the city gave us problems. Another contractor would have walked away but Chris helped us get our plans approved with some cost savings that enabled us to do our project. He treated us like it it was his house and his family. He knew that our family with 7 kids needed the extra space.  When the city finally approved the plans Chris did something I have never seen a contractor do. He framed the entire new level with the demolition in 2 weeks. People on my block still talk about this because some houses take months he took weeks.   His level of detail was A+ and I am glad to say we passed all inspections because Chris doesn't play games he is honest with both the client and the city and therefore all inspections are passed.
Due to the limitations of what we could do this time we look forward to working with Chris next year when we finish the house .  Due to regulations we couldn't remodel the house the way we dreamed but he helped us remodel to where we can live like people and then finish it next year according to our dreams.
If you need a contractor run and hire him don't walk. He will not disappointment and he will not lie to you. His word is  as good as gold + more. I have dealt with lots of contractors in the past and he is the best. Hire him before all my neighbors do.

My wife and I have never been more pleased-- Crisvalih delivered above and beyond.  We were very particular in our expectations and Crisvalih's quality and professionalism exceeded expectations by far.  We worked very close to them in sticking to the architectural plans and satisfying the requirements from the town (load/weight/structural support) and other contractors (electrician and plumbers).  We are beyond satisfied.
In the first few weeks of work, Crisvalih did the entire demolition and all the construction prior to closing the walls.  They communicated well with the town on our behalf to ensure that the strict town inspections were passed.  Considering we were opening up walls and we replaced headers with metal I-beams to bring the dated home to a modern standard, blending the old home structure with up-to-date codes was a great feat.
After the inspection was passed, the sheetrock and insulation went up quickly.  Then came the time for the detail work, where if I wasn't impressed already, this just took the cake.  Their attention to detail was impeccable and they even came forward with some great design suggestions. 
It is not often that you come across a team of people who are as committed to a successful job and satisfying the customer as Crisvalih is.  With deep rooted morals and virtues, you can trust Crisvalih to deliver and be there to help you through your project.
We hired Crisvalih for a reasonable large job and for a young couple, we were risking not just our own money, but money that we borrowed.  There was absolutely no room for error--Crisvalih understood that and provided top notch service to us.

For most homeowners, the hardest part of any home renovation project isn?t the work itself, it?s finding a competent and reliable contractor to do the job. Installing kitchen cabinets, knocking down a wall or retiling the bathroom is simple compared with the struggle of hiring a quality contractor who will perform at a high level from start to finish.  When my husband and I began looking for a contractor, we knew that it would be a labor of love as it was our first big home project.  I was also pregnant so time was of the essence.  When we met with Cristian, he was patient in trying to understand the dream that we had for our entire first floor.  He had great ideas and also listened to what we wanted to ensure that this all became a reality.  We hired Cristian and his team to do a brand new kitchen, remodel our downstairs bathroom, all of the first floor flooring and painting.  On top of this, there was additional work that came along with such a big job (plumbing, electrical etc).  Cristian and his team arrived promptly every day at 7am to do work.  They were always professional, courteous and honest and worked hard every day.  We felt like they were very much invested in making our home beautiful, the same way my husband and I were.  Whenever any issue or question arose, we were always consulted first.  The end result was absolutely amazing.  Everyone that has visited our home has been impressed with the work, especially the kitchen.  The woodwork and attention to fine detail really makes it stand out.  Since then, we have used Cristian and his team to also do other work in the house, including more painting and other smaller remodeling projects and continue to be satisfied.  We wholeheartedly recommend Crisvalih Home Remodelation Inc for any of your home remodeling needs. 

the entire service was great.  There was no inconvience to me and my family he worked quitely and effeciently he was very professional.  Everything he did was done to perfection.  He was very clean and the entire project was cleaned up afteward.  He was also very creative, he gave lots of ideas that I wouldn't have come up with on my own.

Crisvalih Home Remodelation were very efficient in their use of time and worked within our time constraints. They were extremely co-operative and adaptable to our needs and changes. Their work was meticulous and precise. We were extremely happy with the result and will use them again for all future projects!

It went well, there was lots of debris left and dust all around. but they covered the area where working also I had a vacant apartment unit therefore it didn't require much protection. Some delays due to inclement weather conditions with working days, also on my part some delays with material and a situation that called for a plumber because I had to abide by co-op rules it delayed the work. Also if you can handle taking the debris out instead of paying them you could save but I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT nor do I recommend that you get all the material. For example sink and under sink plumbing. If you could go with him to mutually agree if you are as pickle as me. Other than I would trust their decisions, of course shopping around will delay the project. He is good with photos and web savvy. These gentlemen can handle any situation, hard working, on time and "do not beat around the bush". They did not try to sell me on putting anything different than what I asked for, if I asked for recommendations they gave it to me but they were very "black and white" and I like that.

Good as in the review for the bathroom review the same professionalism. My high-end cabinets were already assembled and ready for install. I also had to wait for the marble c-top to arrive therefore a bit delay from my part. Other than small kitchen. I advice to make sure you tell them exactly what you would like done such as any spacing, or cover gaps or holes. Be very detail and concise with them.
