About us

We are small family-owned company committed to working with the customer to provide the best service at a reasonable price. Currently we have two employee's. I am a working boss. I own the company, work in the field. I am a 3rd generation electrician and have been doing electrical work for over 25 years. I do not hire subcontractors. I do not work in the city of Ithaca, so I do not need to incur the cost of licensing and can keep my rates low. We are fully insured through Dryden Mutual Ins. Co. and The State Insurance Fund. Rates: Service call - $80; Master Electrician - $65/hr; Journeyman - $50/hr.

David Hulle was excellent. We called him Monday morning, and he was there on Wednesday at the agreed upon time. He worked quickly and efficiently, and, before we knew it, he was finished with the job. It was great that he was able to do the wiring so quickly as we had temporary heavy duty cords on the basement floor for only three days between the emergency sump pump installation and his arrival. I don't know too much about wiring, but everything is in working order and has been since David did this work for us. We'll call David Hulle the next time we need electrical work done here.

Dave responded to my weekend call for help in less than an hour, arranged a time that same day when he could come to diagnose my problem, arrived before his promised time, quickly figured out what was wrong, created a temporary fix, and told me what more was needed to fix the problem permanently. In addition, he examined a circuit board (not part of his job), and indicated what needed to be replaced there. He was polite, efficient, professional, fair, and a pleasure to work with.

He diligently investigated our problem until he created the solution, right then and there. This man is extraordinary! I wanted to repond to Angie's List with my review ASAP because I was astonished with his professionalism! If you need an electrician, don't waste another minute or dollar on anyone else! Call David Hulle and get it right the first time! I will post again when he submits his bill.

Great! Dave gave me a set price at the start of the project and worked until completion (3 days). I am very satisfied with the work completed. When it was time for him to go I said don't worry if you see the lights flickering as you drive away... it's just me playing with the new light switches! I'm very happy with them!
