It went very well, better than expected. He started outside, went around the house, checked the roof, went inside, checked everything from garage, to attic, to interior areas, basement, electric service panel, then back outside. John is a degreed RPI engineer, well worth the money over any other home inspector without equivalent knowledge and background. He gave us a very detailed report, including photos of how different items/areas in the home should and should not be, a list of life expectancy of various materials/items in the home and recommendations.
