No issues. Clean firewood was delivered as agreed.

Scheduling the delivery was easy, Peter called before he arrived ensuring that delivery would be on-time. Peter called a few days after delivery to see how the wood was burning and if I had any comments or concerns. Peter is customer focused and punctual providing great service. The wood is seasoned and burns well. There is no better place to go when looking for firewood.

Peter called back right away and scheduled delivery within a few days. The wood is well seasoned and cut for use in a fireplace. The quantity was more that adequate.

First the good:
Peter is very good about returning calls, and he delivered the wood on schedule. I can't comment on the quality of the wood, because I haven't used it yet.
For the not so good:
Peter has a lot to learn about doing business, in my opinion. I found him to be extremely rigid and not always clear in his communications.
When we spoke by phone, I was informed that there would be a charge for delivery for anything past 15 miles. So while on the phone, I look up on MapQuest the distance between his business and my home and find that I am 30 miles away. 29.2 miles to be exact, but I round up and give him an extra 1.6 miles, because that's how I do business because I'm not an a**. I convey this information to Peter and he says he won't know until he checks for himself and then he'll let me know what the delivery fee is. Okay, trust issues #1. And he never specifies in future phone calls what the delivery fee is so I assume it's for the 30 miles, because I HAVE CHECKED ON MAPQUEST.
When he calls to say he's on his way, I tell him if he wants to leave later to avoid rush hour, that's fine. I am always happy to try to find ways to help make other people's lives a little easier. He elects to leave at the original time.
In the meantime, I go to the bank to get him cash figuring that would be a nice thing to do. When he comes, I hand him the cash and then he proceeds to count it twice in front of me. Okay, trust issues #2.  He accepts the money and goes to dump the wood, but then comes back and tells me that I owe him $15 more because actually, he only delivers 7 1/2 miles each way.
I explain that he told me 15 miles. Not 7 1/2 miles. And I should not have to pay an extra $15 on an already very expensive delivery. He says he has to go ask his boss. Well, he is the boss! It's his name on the business and his business card.
Then he comes back and tells me nope, he wants the extra $15.
Peter, that was a very "penny wise and pound foolish" choice to have made. Not only did you lose a customer for years to come, you've lost other potential customers that I could have directed your way.
Why I used Peter:
The guy I usually get my wood from had personal matters that prevented him from delivering this year. In the future, I'd rather go cut and split wood myself than use Peter again. That's how peeved I feel about it all.

Peter responded to my phone call right away and scheduled a delivery within a few days. He delivered on time. The firewood was all well seasoned and well split. The price was fair given the quantity and quality of the wood.

Peter was responsive and delivere on time and as promised. He charged an extra $20 for delivery based on my location which he fully disclosed upfront. The wood was a nice mix of hardwoods and looks well seasoned. He also threw in a bundle of kindling, which was a nice touch. I would use his services again in the future.

Peter called the morning of the delivery to confirm, and arrived as scheduled. He dropped the wood right where I wanted it. It's well seasoned, quality wood, cut to a nice size for a woodstove. It was good full cord or better. Were outside of his usual delivery range so there was a small surcharge for the distance, which he told me about right up front, and is fair enough. He's very pleasant to deal with and I'll definitely call him again next season.

He is great.  For 3 cords of wood is about $1000.  They were fine. I think he actually came out himself. He had it probably within two days. It was my first time using him.

He contacted to schedule a date promptly.  He contacted me the day of to make sure as we are outside of his normal delivery area and called when he was running a little late.  The wood that was delivered was seasoned wood and was a good mix and burns very nicely.

Peter delivered a mix of seasoned and partially seasoned firewood. He responded quickly and the delivery was done the next day. The wood is high quality and burns nicely.

Called Peter for a ½ cord of wood delivered.  We scheduled for the next day delivery in the afternoon and he was on time.  Wood is good quality and dry.
