Orange Roofing

Very positive experience. We received a referral from a neighbor for Orange Roofing. We received a fair estimate from Jarrod for replacing shingles. He was prompt, professional and friendly. He was patient and took the time to explain their process thoroughly. We decided to go with a comparable company, otherwise we would have hired them without hesitation.

Called on a Sunday afternoon and roof repaired on  Tuesday morning ... in between Contractor kept in good contact with us about possible times ...  --- I can not say enough about that courtesy  ...

My wife was home when roofer showed up  ... Anthony explained to her what was wrong and what was needed ... plus he inspected a few other spots to make sure everything OK ...

My roof was starting to leak and needed to be replaced. I called Orange Roofers and I had an estimate the same day. They replaced the roof within a few week of the estimate. It only took them a day in a half. The roof looks great. The guys were very nice and professional. I feel I got a great price and quality work. I would use them again and I would highly recommend them.

Scheduled a time for someone to come over and take a look at my roof.
Took time out of a very busy day. Waited an hour - no call no show = no

They came the same day as called. Fixed the trim and left me a bil. No hassle no problems.

They came over and they were here at 7 pm. They had it fixed within a half an hour and were on their way. It rained again and it leaked again. I ended up getting someone else. The original roof replacement that they did in 2003. I was not happy with it. They did not replace the flashing and they told me that it was not part of the roof job. They did eventually come out and put up flashing. I would not use them again.

The roofer came on a holiday to give an emergency job quote. It was not the lowest or the highest quote. He seemed very knowledgible and capable. He was a little difficult to reach on the days of the job but his responsiveness in doing the job in just a few days of giving the estimate was excellent. The installation of the roof was complicated by the removal of not simply one old roof but also a much older roof beneath it. He knew time was of the essence for us and completed the job primarily on the first day and came for clean up the following day. The roof has performed well in severe rain since the job was completed. The only criticism is that there were insufficient tarps to pick up roof debris. Therefore, the clean up took a lot of time. I would still recommend this roofer to other Angies List members.

Overall we had a good experience with Orange Roofing. They we not the least expensive quote we received but they had a thorough evaluation and proposal and on some repairs I feel it is more important to look for a quality repair than go with the cheapest. You get what you pay for. They were very fast in removing our old roofing and did a good job with the ice barrier and shingling. Good at cleanup too. No extra shingles or nails left around. Did have one shingle during tear off damage a window screen but that can happen. I fixed it myself.

Company called on thursday to clear out the driveway, so that a dumpster could be located there for roof stripping to occur. dumpster was delivered Thursday afternoon. Workers arrived on Friday at about 8:00 am and proceeded to strip the upper roof. Worked till about 4 to 5 pm. During the day the generator had to be replaced, which slowed the job (but it was hot!, about 95 degrees and humid) Returned the following day to complete upper roof and the lower garage roof. Cleaned up the cut shingles and the staples and nails that had fallen to the ground. cleaned the driveway. took the dumpster away.
Roof looks great, many complements from neighbors.

Owner does not return phone calls regarding initial inspection/estimate

THE ONLY THING THAT I WAS DISSATISFIED WITH WAS THE CLEAN UP JOB THEY DID. THEY LEFT A BUNCH OF SCRAPS AND THINGS AROUND, BUT OTHER THAN THAT, I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID.

OVERALL IT WAS A PRETTY GOOD JOB AND A QUICK JOB. THEY COULD HAVE DONE A LITTLE BIT BETTER BUT I WAS HAPPY. THE PRICE WAS ALRIGHT BUT THEIR WORKMANSHIP COULD HAVE BEEN A BIT BETTER. OVERALL IT WAS A PRETTY GOOD JOB THOUGH.
