Do not call this company for any appliance repair. The service is neither cheap nor professional. I had a deeply frustrating experience with All Brand Appliance Services. My washer was broken because the detergent dispenser was stuck, so I called this company and agreed to a diagnostic fee of $150. I made sure to remove the dryer on top and opened the washer cap for easy access to the issue. The service location was at 6 Pine St. Before arrival, I informed the technician about the parking situation, advising him to go around the block due to parking restrictions. Instead, he parked directly in front of the building, which is not permitted at that time. He then rudely asked my contractor to act as a lookout for his illegally parked car. This was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. What made the situation even worse was his unprovoked and racist behavior. Without any clear reason, he threatened to call the cops if we did not give him the money immediately. When addressing my Asian contractor, he made a discriminatory remark saying, "Asian people never pay their bill" and threatened to call the cops on him. Such racist comments are unacceptable and unprofessional. Though his technical skills seemed adequate and the service fee is a common industry practice, his behavior overshadowed these aspects. He removed the stuck detergent dispenser but gave me the wrong part number and phone number to order the replacement part. I had to contact another local appliance store to get the correct parts. In summary, this company exhibits serious unprofessionalism and a troubling racist attitude. Their pricing is not competitive, and they lack clear instructions for follow-up on repairs and parts. My experience aligns with other negative reviews, suggesting a pattern of forgetfulness and biased perceptions. As a business owner myself, with a Japanese restaurant and multiple rental properties, I found this treatment shocking and unacceptable. I strongly advise against hiring this company.

I contacted Kim at All Brand Appliance Repair in Troy NY. He failed to show for 2 appointments. I should have given up, but he did arrive for the last. This review is a cautionary tale, whereas years ago this company may have been reputable and factory-authorized, today it is not. Kim earns his money on the initial service calls. He comes into your home and doesn’t even try to diagnose the broken appliance. He is physically limited by age and is unable to bend down or move anything. In my case he didn’t turn on the oven to replicate or confirm the issue. He didn’t know how the appliance was mounted and accidentally damaged the trim kit. He used his crystal ball diagnosis on the phone with his “parts man” who I think he never actually dialed. Kim claimed no parts were available and told me to pay him for his call-out and for me to just buy a new appliance. I contacted the manufacturer and all parts ARE available. The parts Kim indicated were not correct for repair. I fixed myself.

Two other repair places said they didn't know how to repair Bosch appliances, a third one wouldn't schedule me because I wasn't a customer of their store. I called All-Brand and the repairman came the next day, assessed the problem, ordered the parts I needed and replaced them two days later. It was a $300 part and the service calls were $99 each day. The oven works fine now and I'm very pleased with his work.

My "Sears" Kenmore Elite Gas dryer is actually made by LG, so All-Brand is one of the few places that services them. I received a call from Ken (?) (I apologize if I get the name wrong), right away and he fit me into his schedule in a day or two. He called before he left, and he showed up when he said he would. He was very friendly and courteous and determined it was the ignitor (thankfully), but that part is not routinely stocked (no surprise it's an LG and it was like 5+ years old). A few days later, the part arrived and he again called before he left and arrived when he said he would and had me back up and running in under 30 minutes. This took place on 6/7/16 for the initial visit/diagnosis. I would definitely use them again for appliance repairs.

I THOUGHT THEY CHARGED A LOT OF MONEY, IT ONLY TOOK HIM ABOUT 25 MINUTES TO FIX IT. WE WEREN'T PLEASED THAT THE TEAR WAS CAUSED BY PACKING MATERIALS BUT WE HAD TO PAY THE BILL ANYWAY. IT TOOK A COUPLE DAYS TO GET THEM TO COME OUT. IT WAS HARD TO GO A COUPLE OF DAYS WITHOUT A WASHER.
