The original price was $1000.00 more than any other estimate... when I pushed back on Mr Murphy about this because I felt as though he was trying to take advantage of me, and explained the buyer of my property really wanted him because she found him here on Angie's list, he came down the 1000.00 immediately, like he had overcharged to begin with The work was completed and three weeks later my tenant moved out so I could close on the property, the utilities were to be left on as it was the winter, I inspected the property and all was fine. When I went back to the property 3 days later I found out the electric had been shut off! Which in turn shut off our boilers for heat, and it was 40• in the house! When I called the electric company to get it turned back on the told me Twin City hadn't had their work inspected from the town so we could not get it turned back on. I called the owner Mike Friday and Saturday with NO response, finally on Sunday when I left and irate voicemail he called back and came to the house and said it was an oversight by his office... instead of appropriately fixing the problem, he ILLEGALLY cut off the lock out tag from National Grid, and asked us to keep it quiet. We had over $5500.00 in damages that our insurance claim denied because the service had been turned off due to the negligence of Mike Murphy and his company. While we were doing repairs and working with our insurance, Mr Murphy claimed it was his error, asked our deductible so he could cover it and said if insurance denied our claim he would work it out with us. Once we let him rectify the illegal work he did and get the town inspection, we never heard from him again. Our attorney sent him a letter with the charges and he is now claiming WE were responsible for the inspection! I understand it was an oversight not to get the inspection done, but it was his responsibility and that caused major damage at our property! He is untruthful, unethical, and we will be moving forward with a lawsuit. I hope his conscious will kick in and he will rectify the situation!

The electricians arrived and promplty went to work. Quickly upgraded GFCI outlets in kithchen, and started on the bathroom issue. Took a little time to problem solve the issue, but they systimatically worked through throught the possible causes and found an open air splice in the crawl space. i would definitly hire again.

Since just about everything in my house was tinkered with by DIYer type previous owners, I wasn't surprised when the work turned out to require more than "just" replacing the circuit breaker, panel and the service line. But Mike was great, gave me a great price and kept me apprised of any developments. When I hire someone to do work, I look for someone who knows what they are talking about, does quality work, doesn't skimp, and stands by their work and actually seems interested in doing the work, and doesn't talk down to me. Not only did Twin City Electrical fit the bill, but he also happened to have the best price. Additionally, his workers cared not just about getting the job done, but also making sure it looked great and they cleaned up well after themselves.

I have a service contact where they come twice a year. It is $69 each time. They are honest, professional and clean cut. They always wear a uniform and have their name listed on the trucks.

They are punctual and always call before they come. They send the service contact ahead of time to be reviewed.

Excellent! The owner made plans for workers to come out to my house first thing Monday morning (my issue happened on Friday). This was highly satisfactory as I was not available for a same day visit. The two electricians that came to my house were very professional. They went to work as soon as they were able to get from me exactly what had happened. They found the problem quickly, fixed it, and cleaned up. I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to everyone.

Perfectly! The men showed up right on time. Polite and friendly. Talked about where I wanted the outlets. The job was done in a timely manner. Everything was cleaned up and anything that needed to be moved was put back. Very very happy with the whole experience.

Mike responded to my call immediately and was very understanding. He got me on the schedule ASAP. Brady and Erin arrived on time and were very polite and great to work with. They were professional and knowledgable and explained everything to me patiently. I will absolutely call them again and ask for Brady and Erin.
