Frank's Basement Systems specializes in basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation and repair, and foundation repair. We have been serving homeowners and businesses throughout Greater Buffalo for more than 40 years. We are a member of several nationally-recognized contractor networks, including Basement Systems, Supportworks, and CleanSpace. All of the patented products that we offer are installed by trained professionals with lifetime, transferable warranties. Frank DiMaria is the owner of Frank's Basement Systems. He is a lifetime resident of the Town of Tonawanda who wouldn't dream of living anywhere else. Frank started his entrepreneurial work before he graduated High School. He began as a small landscaping company and after 28 years in business grew his company to over 150 employees. Concrete Foundation Repair
Project was estimated at 2 days; it took 3.5. Work began very slowly, one of the 2-man crew showed up for only 1 hour. Second crew was courteous and helpful with explanations. I would have preferred finished color to blend more with existing finishes as the work was exterior on the front of the house, but I was not given a choice; grey appears light blue.

My Mom (76) has had 2 other plumbers work on her broken water pipes and was still getting leaking under the kitchen sink. Frank's plumbing was able to fix the problem in one day and the best thing is that they had access to other specialists, like carpenters and electricians. The other plumbers did not offer this service. Frank's coordinated all 3 services on the same day and now my Mom can finally use her kitchen and dishwasher!!

Frank returned my call at 5am on a Sunday morning. He gave me some advice on how to get my basement drained and had a pro out to my house before 10am. I will ALWAYS use Franks. Their professionalism and customer care is beyond measure. For only $5800 they installed a bubbler and back valve to insure that we were protected from flooding regardless of the direction it comes from.

I actually wound up having to call Franks at 5am the morning after I placed this service request thanks to our basement flooding for the 4th time in 3 months. I spoke to Frank himself. He was very patient and gave me some suggestions to get me dried up and promised that he would have someone out that morning to help. There was a bit of scheduling confusion at first, but I told the receptionist who I was, the confusion cleared up. Someone was out before 10am. Throughout the day a series of people showed up to look at all sorts of different things. After the last melt, my basement is still as dry as a bone.

The sales process & scheduling was excellent. Satisfied with options & cost for value. I was coordinating between 2 projects & Frank's arrived ontime. The work team was respectful and explained any questions we had. I have 1 issue with the job. What sets companies appart as those good and those that are excellent is not when things all go according to plan but how they handle the job when they don't go according to plan. This is the case here. We had a job site change that was not discussed. After bringing the problem to their attention Frank, the owner, handled it and we are supremely satisfied. I will definitely hire them again.

Just after startup of drain tile installation in our Amherst buckled basement, it was determined additional parts / labor was needed to attack more of the problem, not just treating the symptom. As we were hesitant in spending even more money, the situation probably should have been in original estimate and work order. Frank came out to address the situation and it was determined several parties were somewhat responsible, and he was very much in tune to customer service, and he gave us a good deal on the additional parts. Basement is dry and secure. Good Job.

The plumber told us he'd never installed a faucet or water filter like ours before and said "this is why I don't like installing the customer's stuff." This was a clean plumbing job and fairly straightforward and Identical items had been installed easily in our other homes. Also, in our experience, plumbers use creative thinking to solve small problems at the site, which didn't happen. In our opinion, 4 and a half hours was way too much time and the job cost more than the high end faucet and filter that he installed. I had hoped this would be a resource but he'll never call on them again.
