I called in the morning and had a service tech that afternoon. I received a call from the office letting me know that the tech was on his way to my house. The work was performed quickly. I would definitely hire again.

After estimating my project at around $300 to replace my torsion spring, the total rose to $575, including $300 for parts, $100 service fee, $140 in labor, and then the remainder in taxes. When I left a negative review on another site, I received phone calls asking for more details, requesting I change or remove the review, and with Bartlett offering a $50 coupon on future service. When I asked them to email the offer in writing, they stopped responding.

Replaced two traditional openers with jack-shaft openers because (1) they are more reliable, especially given our history of service issues and (2) they open to a higher height in the garage and (3) they are Wifi controlled for security. Bartlett must not do many of these installations because they did not seem to know how to program them. Despite paying top-dollar for the doors and openers, one year later, we are still having issues with the doors. The large door would not close thereby making it very difficult to leave the house unattended. When the operator for that door was finally replaced recently, the lock for the door malfunctioned such that the door would not raise without manually defeating the lock. Lastly, the Wifi for the large door would not pair even though the Wifi for the small door worked. It should be noted that we have not had any issues with the service people who come to our house; we have only had issues with the indifference and attitude of the owner. Bartlett does not seem interested in making this situation right at all!

We met with the vendor at our house and they gave us pricing and literature for the choices. We also went to the office/store to see some samples. Ordering, scheduling and installation all went very smoothly. Highly recommended.

I had to have another wonderful company, Ortner, come out and fix Bartlett's Door Sales and Service, 954 Brighton Rd, Tona, NY, poor service. When the garage door kept going up every time I closed it, I contacted Bartlett. The person answering cut me off and said I need a unit. When I told him they just put it in, he said I damaged the sensors. I told him they were not damaged. The he said to get a jackhammer, bust up my concrete and level my driveway. (There is less than 1/8' difference from the left to right sides of the door.) He said there would be another charge to come out to adjust the door. When they installed the door on June 26, 2018, the serviceman sat in the company truck on his cellphone. When I asked why he was not helping his partner, he said the installer was new and had to get some experience. However, at the end of installation when the serviceman got up to help, it was obviously done incorrectly. When I called them to come out again, they said they would call Sat. by noon with an appt time for Mon Aug. 20. No response. It was a blessing Ortner came out (recommended by a neighbor.) They fixed Bartlett's errors: carriage crashing into head bracket; bracket mounted on incorrect side of door, broken (new) manual pull string, adjusted door so it closes the FIRST time AND is level to the floor without a gap. Ortner also installed a light bulb in the new unit, replaced the broken manual pull, cleaned the grease from where Bartlett wiped their hand on the door when they removed the chain (which also left a wide streak of grease on the front of white door.) Ortner also showed me how to maintain (lube) the door. Bartlett serviceman told me to read my manual when I asked. PLEASE be aware on the back of the receipt you get AFTER you pay the $85 fee (although the receipt says $46) it states: "3. WE DO NOT GUARUNTEE (they have it spelled wrong) THE SERVICES PERFORMED ON THE REVERSE SIDE."

The work was completed within an hour of my call at price I was told to expect. Door works great!

horrible. customer service put the blame on customer every word out of owners wife's mouth was what could have happened that we did wrong not what possibly they did wrong or product, etc. did not follow through with repair because they were upset we posted a comment on fb telling how we felt as consumers. So we took post off and tried to work with them but they refused to come back and repair the door. Oh she also put my full name and address on her facebook reply that was very professional. That's ok I prefer they never come back, too many other options out there with nicer people to deal with. Even talked with manufacturer of door who said "good luck with them" Enough said! looking for garage door or opener keep looking there are much better operations out there that will back up their work. Even my brother in law who is a home contractor said "yeah they use to be good not so much anymore" I will gladly repair my door or even replace it and oh well I loose on money but hopefully someone else will not use them and they loose too in the long run. I'd rather use home depot at least they back up their stuff and don't fight with the consumer and demean them. Over the years I have had numerous garage doors and openers on both rental properties, family homes and my own homes. Never had a problem with a door, ever and if I did I would expect good service from the company that installed it. Bottom line, things happen and when they do you expect the company who did the work at least give you some respect and understanding not immediately try to pass the blame and circle around the issues. Calling new company today highly recommended can't wait to hear what they say about the door and Bartlett

Very well, didn't take long and clean up was thorough.

I called to have my garage door tuned up and they said it would be $79.99 for 30 minutes plus parts. It took the tech 20 minutes and he changed the wheels in the track and he charged me $188 with the tax!!! Never again!!

Excellent. Completely professionally done. Helpful, came to the location measured the door, set up a good time to get the work done, on time and cleaned up after all the work was complete.

The installer did an excellent job and left everything tidy, hauling away old door and parts. he

left operation manual and explained door operation to me.

Fantastic. Very timely with the install, installer was punctual and proofessional and cleaned up after the install. Price was excellent and the quality of our door is excellent . I can honestly say that the entire experience from estimate to install was a very pleasant experience. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them.

The doors look amazing and the service was great.  The tech cleaned up really well, other than the two new garage doors you wouldn't have known anyone was there.  He was prompt and professional.  I would definitely recommend this company and if I need maintenance or repairs I will be  calling them again.  I had tried a few others listed on Angie's list and never received a phone call back from anyone.

We are very happy and satisfied with our 2 new single garage doors. The installer was right on time. He took down and cut up the old doors.Everything was taken away. Garage was left clean, no evidence that any work had been done. So from start to finish we are very satisfied. We love the doors.The product is good quality.

I was very pleased from start to finish. Bartlett Door was very professional and easy to deal with. I had done my home work first on the type and quality of door I wanted which took a lot of the uncertainty about what I was getting. I had gotten two estimates. The estimated were very competitive but Bartlett was lower by at least 10% for the identical door and service.

Once I called Bartlett they came out within a day or two for an estimate. Since I was not able to schedule my time to be available before 5pm, I allowed them come and quote at their convenience. They did not leave a written estimate but called and verbally gave me a price. I requested the estimate in writing which they promptly faxed me (they were not able to email).

After awarding the work, the door was ordered which they estimated would take a few weeks. Two weeks later Bartlett called to schedule installation as promised. Doug arrived promptly on the day as scheduled. My wife stated he was very professional and worked diligently for five hours removing my old heavy wooden door and installing the new under extreme cold winter conditions. The old door was cut up and neatly placed to the curb as promised. I am very pleased with the product, professionalism and installation.

Only suggestion would be have for Bartlett would be to enhance their written estimate process. Not a negative. Top notch work. I would highly recommend. 

I would hire this company again. They were very easy to work with; very polite. Gave me an estimate on the phone and said they would call me within a day to schedule installation and they did. Came out a few days later and did the installation - saw I had two rollers that were in bad shape but were not pushy about replacing them (I opted to have them replaced while they were there). I was not even there for the installation and there were no problems - they showed up when they were supposed to, did the work, did it well, and I came home from work to a new, quiet garage door opener.
